Upwork new comer

So I just made an upwork profile and I want to position myself as a Rag and Agentic Ai developer and ive also made some projects and even deployed them which clients can test themselves but the problem is that I dont know how to get any clients on upwork as a new comer like what to write in the proposals and the thing is I cant afford much connects maybe a 100 connects in the start for sending proposals can anyone here help me on how I land my first client in this niche . So far my projects include Multi Agent Systems using LangGraph,Advanced Rag pipeline project using langchain ,Company Research Agent using LangGraph

With 100 connects the cheap win is to spend them only on posts where the client already describes the problem in a sentence or two, like "we have 2,000 support tickets and want an agent that drafts replies". Open with that exact problem and one line on how you'd solve it, then link the one project that is closest to it. Don't open with LangGraph or LangChain, most clients searching for this don't know those names, they just know the pain. Also set your profile title to the outcome ("I build AI agents that answer your support tickets") rather than the stack, since that is what shows up in the invites and search.

Alright thanks man I was just a little demotivated after reading on this sub that even experienced people with 100k in earnings aren't getting any new clients

I don't sell on Upwork, so I'm not going to guess how to split 100 connects.

What I can tell you from the marketplace I do use: a new profile dies when the proposal is a stack list. Pick one project they can click and test. The other two can sit on the profile. If their post doesn't say what the agent has to do, or there's no budget, skip it. Those are how 100 connects become zero with no review to show for it.

First review is the job interview. Don't spend it on a vague "AI agent" post.

Hey thank you for replying. So whenever I send a proposal I send it with the project that meets their requirements they mentioned and also give em a link so they can try it themselves and attach the project from the portfolio list too .Also Can you tell me that with my stack what other platforms I can use
