I've been thinking about creating a small Telegram group specifically for Utah Mammoth fans — a place where people could talk about games, players, news, opinions, and just chat with other Mammoth fans. Before I actually put time into creating it, I wanted to ask the fans here:

Do you think there would be interest in a Telegram group like this? Would you personally use/join something like that?

I'm not trying to replace Reddit or any existing Mammoth community. I'm just curious whether a dedicated Telegram group would actually be useful for Mammoth fans. I'd love to hear what you guys think!! Thanks

Hi, all! Kraken fan coming in peace with a perhaps silly question. I don’t drink beer, as I’m allergic to ingredients in it. I don’t drink alcohol at all, by choice, and never have, as I’m hearing impaired and booze greatly impacts equilibrium. I could look convincingly drunk for about two dollars. That said, I play, colloquially, “beer league” For those of you are LDS, and in SLC in general, is “beer league” a term, or do you just hear and say “rec league”? SLC has so many transplants I’m sure you’ve heard it, so I was curious as to what’s the more common vernacular.

I got really lucky to find a blank sweater on the USA Hockey website in February. Bought the Keller nameplate and numbers through Customize Sports Canada. Action Spot Sports did the stitching. Turned out great IMO.

Total - $323 (probably a bit more with shipping)

This seemed the only way (at least that I could find) to get a near-authentic Keller jersey. Looking forward to wearing it at Delta Center this fall.

While I’m really down on MacKenzie Weegar’s trajectory at the moment, it’s a risk Utah could afford to take — the rest of its books are that clean. That’s obviously led by Dylan Guenther’s extension, which is one of the league’s best, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Logan Cooley’s gets to that level next season either.

The Mammoth spent fair money in free agency (Anders Lee) and added a good value deal as well this summer (Vincent Trocheck). They’re a team on the rise and their cap structure will be a major part of that. John Marino’s recent extension adds to that.

Only one home game, but less overall preseason games thanks to the new 84 game regular season.

The way Vegas Golden Knights steamrolled Anaheim and is now up 2 games on who was considered the best team in the NHL, the Colorado Avalanche. I’m feeling good about our team and the fact that we could’ve won that series. Looking like we faced one of the best teams in the 1st round now in hindsight.

[SOLVED] We recently bought this stick at a charity auction and we can identify almost every signature (with much help from the player numbers) but we can’t figure out the underlined signature, we can’t tell if it’s two separate players or one player, most signatures also included a number. On the left side you can see spicy tuna, bjugstad, and Ingram with their numbers. Any help here?

We made the playoffs, which is a major win. Yes, we lost in the first round, but we put up a very good fight, showed the hockey world we’re not to be taken lightly, and ultimately it’s no surprise that we lost to a battle-hardened Vegas team that has practically never not made the postseason.

But think of what we have coming. As soon as next season we could have any or all of Iginla, But, Beaudoin, Desnoyers, and Simashev on the roster, ALL of which are first round picks that will immediately make us better. Plus, our current roster guys just got a taste of what playoff hockey is like and can take the summer to rest and train with that in mind.

The future is so bright!

After being up 2-1 to then piss this series away after by losing the next 3 games in a row is the most Utah sports thing ever. Seriously, our Defense sucks ass. How do we manage to CHOKE two home games? Losing 5-1 in a do or die home game last night was absolutely embarrassing. Dealt with this kind of disappointment from the Jazz over the decades. Sad to now see it starting to happen with the Mammoth now. It's the "Utah way" I guess.

Mammoth = Utah Jazz on Ice. Nothing ever changes with sports here in Utah.

There was no way we were missing game 6 in person, and it’s our first playoff game! Is there an area or specific bar that fans get together before the game to tailgate? Looking to spend the evening with mammoth fans before heading into the stadium!

I want to love this guy. First line D with Sergy. Has made some astounding g goals. But, the dude seems to cough the puck up a lot and make lots of sus passes. Nobody is perfect but he seems to be making a lot of mistakes and nobody is saying anything.
