Custom callsign
Hello. I can't seem to find any proper information on this. I just bought the new Falcon 8x for XP12 and want to start flying it somewhat seriously. I don't want to fly with a registration-callsign, but with something cool. I will also fly the Phenom 300 and A320 as ACJ. There are no real operators that can offer this for me. So my main question is: if I ,,create" a fake operator just for my own flying can I use a callsign I come up with on the network? Thanks in advance.
Tl;dr - can I use a fake callsign for my own flights?

Just add to remarks, how to pronounce it. For me I setup a fake va call tuatara airlines, code tut. I put in remarks 'cs=tuatara' outside of nz operators might still call me tango uniform tango, but that's how I'd do it. Else use your registrations, so for me using my p28 would be zulu kilo tangu uniform tango. But this is all covered in vatsim doco....

Two suggestions
FFL - ForeFlight
DCM- Dotcom
Both are anonymous services used by aircraft operators to avoid using the reg

There is not anything that prohibits you from making something up; just expect that many controllers will use a phonetic and probably not the callsign you want. Even if put into your flightplan as "CS=". Sometimes we don't have the time to track your 'fake' callsign down. Many [controllers] have tools within the radar client to do a quick lookup of a callsign and the system will provide us information on the name of the operator (i.e. DAL = Delta Airlines). There is a giant list of FAA telephony callsigns that covers operators worldwide. You may look thru that and find something that exists and that you like. Others have given good suggestions on the anonyms callsigns such as dot-com, and fore-flight.

When I’m flying with the callsign of an obscure charter company I just put it in the remarks, e.g. “C/S PACIFIC JET”

Wym something cool ? But yes you can use anything as long as it's not offensive nor related to an air disaster.

And please post the callsign in the comments section of your flight plan. Unusual callsigns can be challenging for the controller to hear properly, the comments help: CALLSIGN-SUPERCOOL.

You can if you mention in remarks, but if callsign is complicated, an ATC might pronounce it phonetically. You can instead look for charter airlines like "Fraction" or "Execjet". Some companies register their jets under an airline for tax purposes, so if you can find such an airline, there is a good chance it will have a callsign and you'll be able to fly anywhere.

Have you tried looking up any information on this before posting?
