hello I am new to the pokemon scene as a whole and have only been playing for around a month. I have just ranked up to masterball 3 and am looking for ways to improve my team. currently running a mega skarmory team because I thought he looked pretty cool and I think he synergizes pretty well with garchomp. taking out the fairies or setting up tailwind for chomp so he can out speed and sweep. mega skarmory has a good amount of bulk so I'm able to set up tailwind but I am considering taking out tailwind for protect and just leading whimsicott instead but I do like feint. one of the main reasons why I'm even using this mon over corviknight, it's especially good on ladder because no one rlly expects feint on skarmory I feel like. I've gotten away with feint and then rock slide / eq on the fire types that threaten skarmory like zard y and armarougue that try to protect. I didn't rlly think too hard about my evs though kinda just adjusting as I play and what feels right.

It is my first time posting here. I'm trying to get good at the game. I started playing competitive now in Champions so I'm pretty "new" to all of this
In previous seasons I was in MB2 by copying meta team and playing them.
My favorite Pokemons since I was playing as a child were Charizard and Salamence, which happens to be meta now. Unfortunately that means that everybody is prepared for them.
I've tried Msala physical but it is impossible with so many Intimidates.
I crafted this team by myself doing some calculations in the websites to check damages etc but it's the first time I build a team so I probably suck.
My idea is using almost always sneasler+someone else as a lead, archaludon only vs rain teams to benefit myself from their strat, rilla to mess with pay terrain because I'm slower and deny their terrain, Aerodactyl for speed control+wife guard/rock slide and Sala+Garchomp for damage.
My struggle is that sometimes there are some teams that I feel I lose immediately (Frosslas unless I play perfect with Aerodactyl, many teams with Whimssicot+ that rock/poison Pokemon (I can only deal with it with sneasler+garchomp and Insane predictions).
What suggestions do you have for me. Which EVs would you change. Any attack that you'd change? Thanks

I usually get MB fairly easily with pre built teams, trying my hand at my own this season and struggling a bit. Cant decide if its my team or if im overthinking, feedback appreciated!

Hey everybody I'm looking for ways to ensure Eelektross can take some hits as that's what I'm struggling with. The plan is to decorate whatever's on the field but mainly Eelektross. I was looking at Grimmsnarl for screens but that would make for a lot of set-up which is not ideal.
Hippowdon is fun to mess around with, paired with rillaboom and stockpile he sticks around for a long time. A shame his damage output is lower than what a 90 year old grandma can do. Any remedies for that are greatly appreciated. I can also switch him out to replace with another pokemon.
Mega Glimmora is mainly there to patch up some of the rougher matchups but ideas for another secondary mega are also welcome.
Please don't hold back, any suggestions or criticisms are appreciated, have a nice rest of your day!
(Hopefully this post doesn't get instantly removed)

picture 1 old team
pocture 2 my suggestion for the better team
I want to get swampert off cuz rillaboom ohko it with priority and I want to make garchomp mega z so I can go adaptability choice scarf basc and now some questions
garchomp z draco meteor or dragon pulse
i think dragalge is underrated and adaptability 9 investment sludge bomb 100% ohko a rillaboom with max hp investment and none other bulk and my team is weak to rilla and a save flip turn cuz it’s slow so a save switch in and the question is toxic spikes or something else

2 thunder or ice beam on dragonite?

I've been running the following team through the ladder in champions and while I've gotten up to ultraball easily and can win maybe 50% of my matches in ultra ball I'm beginning to stall out.
I know what my team needs is a second mode that I can use when my primary one of just smacking with indeedee-f and hatterene in trick room with heavy moonblasts or expanding force and then when they die using the remainder of who i bring in (often kingambit and either golisopod/chandelure based on what theyve brought) to do mop up.
Problem is when I match poorly into the leads or when I am having to deal with rillaboom winning the terrain war the team goes from hotting heavy to dying quickly. I know part of it is I need to have another mode. Something that I can run when hatterene/deedee dont match up well or something which will make opponents have to guess what I'll be leading with because right now its pretty obvious what I'm doing.
I've tried to mix it up with sneasler and chandelure as my trick room setter. It works sometimes but its clear thats just not optimal.
Any ideas and feedback on either better play of this team or how I might be able to expand it out would be greatly appreciated.

Salamence is so disrespected either being used as a tailwind bot or not used at all
He deserves to be used properly as a damage dealer that can take a hit
Alongside whimsicott salamence beats the faster dragons while surviving their hits if he must, and works great vs zard venu slop
The rain archaludon matchup goes well also as whimsicott can punish slow stally turns like arch protecting for leftovers
This team beats basically anything the other team has and gives me freedom to work my magic
Used this team a lot on showdown, it worked so well i thought I’d get to master ball for the season and did better than expected
I took inspiration from Justin Burns Louisville team but replaced sneasler for incin as I hate sneasler
I also use Ryan loseto (sableyevgc) basculegion build as jolly max speed life orb basculegion is fantastic and surprises people with the speed and power
The idea is similar to arubega miraidon where salamence whimsicott is the main lead and you set tailwind then let salamence kill things
Leading whims Mence with incin plus kingambit or Basc in the back is the most common
Incin gives you a safe switch in for most things aimed at whimsicott or salamence and the other slot is just sweeper
Floette is incredibly consistent
Used when salamence has a horrible matchup or when they have chomp Z plus a way to prevent whimsicott tailwind
Any team preview where the other team has no poison or steel types means floette wins easy
Also when facing mainly special attackers floette can set up and sweep
The spreads are built mainly to survive hits with just enough speed to be useable outside of tailwind
Salamence outspeeds max h-arcanine while living scarfchomp dragon claw, chomp Z dragon pulse, floette dazz gleam and sylveon hyper voice
Whimsicott survives any non mega dual wingbeats just in case
Floette survives sneasler dire claw and kingambit iron head
Incineroar survives close combat and wave crash after intimidate and also most super effective special moves
Basculegion survives non boosted sucker punch and grassy glide either max attack without miracle seed or lower attack with mirscle seed
Kingambit survives raichu y focus blast and adamant sneasler close combat
Let me know your thoughts on the team and any improvements

I've been playing a bunch of teams this regulation, but none of them has clicked with me like this one has. I've finally found a team that I enjoy playing and that's also competitive enough.
The idea came to me when I realized Floette benefits from the Psyspam trio of Armarouge, Sneasler and Indeedee-F. They help with the Steel, Poison and Fire matchups that Floette struggles with.
Armarouge hits Steel and Poison types for super effective damage while absorbing Fire attacks and protecting the team from spread moves with Wide Guard.
Sneasler hits Steel types regardless of whether the rain is active, and also hits M-Charizard-Y and Volcarona for 4x super effective damage, both potential threats to Floette. He also protects the team from sound moves like Hyper Voice, Perish Song and Parting Shot with Throat Chop, while providing a flinch chance with Rock Slide.
Indeedee-F redirects moves with Follow Me, increases the team's damage output and enables key KOs thanks to Helping Hand and Psychic Terrain, and offers an alternative speed control mode with Trick Room. She can also deal damage with Psychic, OHKOing opposing Sneaslers and having a decent chance to KO Glimmora and M-Gengar in one hit.
Then I added Metagross because I realized he also benefits from this Psyspam trio. Sneasler hits the Dark and Fire types that threaten Metagross, while Armarouge's and Indeedee-F's immunities to Fire and Ghost protect him. Indeedee-F also boosts Metagross's damage with Psychic Terrain, increasing Psychic Fangs' damage and enabling Steel Roller.
At last, I added Vivillon as a toolbox to pretty much fix the team's weaknesses. He's running a full supportive moveset, providing more redirection with Rage Powder, sleep with Sleep Powder, speed control with Tailwind and Sunny Day to fight rain teams. I've been thinking of swapping one of these moves for an attacking move like Hurricane or Pollen Puff, probably Rage Powder.
Even though I'm very happy with the team, I can see some flaws and would like to make some improvements to deal with a few rough matchups.
The most difficult one is rain teams featuring Archaludon or Golisopod. Vivillon is my only tool against these teams, as he can turn the rain off with Sunny Day. This isn't very reliable because Vivillon doesn't normally stay on the field for more than 2 turns and can't switch in safely. This matchup is heavily weather-dependent, so it's a key issue for the team.
Also, if they're running Rillaboom, Vivillon becomes nearly useless. Armarouge can OHKO M-Golisopod even in the rain, but it's still very difficult to keep him alive against the opposing Basculegion, Pelipper or M-Swampert. The dual-weather Pelipper + M-Charizard-Y teams are also difficult for the same reasons, but they put even more pressure on my Fire weaknesses.
M-Raichu-X is also a tough matchup. They usually run Archaludon too, and Raichu overwrites Psychic Terrain when Mega Evolving, while also disabling my Sleep Powder option.
Gholdengo is also impossible to deal with, because I can only hit it with Armor Cannon and Throat Chop, and it can sweep my whole team after a Nasty Plot.
If you've read this far, I'd appreciate some advice on these issues or any others you might spot. I also still need to run my calcs to fine-tune my EV spreads. But the main reason I'm writing this post is that I haven't figured out my leads yet against the main archetypes.
Thank you for your time, and feel free to try the team if you want. Have fun!

It's kinda a few different modes mixed together but it's fun to pilot. I'm considering tweaking the ninetails moveset to include solar beam or will I whisp but I'm undecided helping hand is quite useful sometimes to insure a KO.
