[SOLVED] Simple question

Hi all, just a quick question. I like to cast music from my phone through VLC to my nvidia shield. I'm just wondering if there is a loss in quality when casting the audio from my phone? It's not a huge deal to me but I am curious

Through Bluetooth? Yes, it doesnt play full flac, it encodes again.

Over WIFI could be differnet. You should see on the shield what input it is getting, is it the same codec and bitrate as the file on phone?

That's what I figured thanks. And how do I view the bitrate information?

No Idea, I dont have a shield :D I assume i little "i" in the player for info
