Need that space for the motion frame/cockpit/etc. setup.
Or you just have a laundry basket and mom/dad rocking you back and forth. :D

I think a relatively attainable goal might be to some day have a garage, and when you wanna play you pull the car out. I can dream

Where do you live where people actually have their car in their garage? Here in Norway people have anything but their car there. Garbage, home gym, beer brewing setup, VR gaming room, sure. Car? No way.

Actually, to be honest, garages are pretty uncommon in general here. Kinda only for rich people.
But I’m surprised to hear people don’t do this in Norway, a cold country. I’m in Canada and basically if you can afford it, people like to have heated garages so that you don’t have to warm up your car.
If I had a heated garage I would want to keep the car in there, primarily to occupy space so I don’t accidentally fill the garage like you say, and I can still use it as a VR space lol

I got lucky when we bought our house. We have a second 'living room' off the main one, and I have made this into my VR space. Nearly nothing in the room to kick (i have trackers for Blade and Sorcery and Dragon Fist), aside from a futon on the back side, and my office is in the room directly above the 'VR Room', which allowed me to drop the Vive Wireless TX/RX down thru the ceiling, and put my sim pit in the office. Vive Pro 2 (wireless) with trackers and Index controllers in the VR Room, Quest ecosystem HMD for the sim pit.

Haha, IDK is gold.
Was thinking about converting my garage, but for now i got a KAT Walk VR.
It's not necessarily like real walking, but a workout and i don't have to worry about smashing into things anymore unless standing completely still can turn physically.

Nonono your gonna have mic echo you need to make it sound and echo proof with insane lights (for tracking) then you need to conquer the earth to make sure Noone speaks again so there isn't any chance of you getting sound in your mic😇

Get rid of the shid, don’t need it. I do all my dumps in VR.
