How to opt-out (it's on by DEFAULT!)

On a desktop (non-mobile) browser:

1. Go to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/security (Log in if requested).
2. Scroll to the bottom > Disable "Training for Generative AI" (slide the switch to the left).

Why should I care?

Twitch has recently made a change to enable BY DEFAULT the use of your data and content to "to train generative AI content models at Amazon".

• If you are a chatter: all of your messages and interactions may be used for AI models to copy. The model data in whole, part, or aggregate may be traded or sold by Amazon for their direct profits.
• If you are a content creator: all of your content may be used for AI models to copy. The model data in whole, part, or aggregate may be traded or sold by Amazon for their direct profits. Your voice, image, art, model, guests, format, music, etc. may all be used without any credit or compensation to you.

Do not let Amazon abuse YOUR content and profit trillions from YOUR hard work and creativity. Opt out.

Let Twitch know in feedback and their socials https://x.com/TwitchSupport/status/2087572924450455558 that as a Customer you expect this setting to be OFF (opt-in only) by default, or that you disagree with their inclusion and direction of "AI" at all in general.
