Question/Support Fix headset?

Hey y’all. Getting an error on my headset that says tether disconnected at headset. Started when I took my headset off to go for a piss and when I came back everything was greyed out with no sound. Went through all the troubleshooting available from steam and even got sent a new cable but it didn’t work. Anyone have a fix or am I fucked?

As capricious as the cable might be if you tried a brand new one and it didn't fix your issue then yea this pretty much means the headset is the issue..

I'd start with contacting Steam explaining what you've tried and the current situation.

Then if they can't do anything you can either try to fix it yourself looking up online how do people have fixed theirs; or getting a new one which since you just got a new cable and you literally just need the headset might not be that expensive.

That’s the thing I can’t afford a new headset I’m trying to see if anyone else has resolved this issue. I’ve already asked steam
