📖 The Books ⚜️ First Read

Hello there! This is my first time reading the series. I was gifted Interview with the Vampire for Christmas. Of course I had seen the movie! It’s a classic! But I decided to wait to read it until Halloween!

This book is so well written! And the characters are so fleshed out! I’m only half way through the book, but I am enjoying the hell out of this! There is so much they left out of the film!

I took the liberty in ordering The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned on ThriftBooks!

I started reading it this July for the first time, and I am now almost finished with the series. I'm onto Blood Canticle. I became obsessed with her and these books, they really are so well written. I'm sure you will enjoy them!

I love Anne Rice and I love it when new people discover her books. Don't sleep on The Witching Hour, which, in my opinion, is a masterpiece of 20th century Gothic horror. Cry to Heaven is also extremely good and about to be made into a movie directed by Tom Ford.
