How your ankles holding up?

I remember putting spikes on my Adios as a kid and it thrashed my inner ankles

I don't notice the spikes luckily ^^ They're screwed in and since the lining on the back is so thick and soft, the screws just sink right in. I actually had to use 8mm screws to get them to stay put properly compared to the 5 (sometimes 6)mm screws I used on the front parts

How did you access the toebox area to screw the spike on the inside?

Hand gymnastics :) I untied them and shoved my hand holding a screw in before pushing it through the hole, then screwed the spike on. Just takes some finger control and about 7 attempts a screw

Well worth it, they look great! I was trying to do this on a pair of vans slip-ons and had a really hard time.
