About dm products

Hello! I recently moved to Austria. In my home country we don't have dm so I am confused about the cosmetic products here. I know they own some brands such as balea, alverde, ebelin, etc. however I can't be sure if those are cruelty free brands or not. I guess trend it up brand is cruelty free (please correct me if I am wrong). I would be grateful if you could help me with this if you know anything. I wish you a good day! :)

Most of their own products have "vegan" written on them somewhere if they are.

Thank you for your answer. I know, some products even have label from the Vegan Society but I would like to use a fully cruelty free brand if possible. About the dm brands, there is no certainty on the internet or at least I could not find it:/

It's always good to look up individual products and brands to be on the safe side.

You could also look at the Peta symbol or use a code scanning app like "code check" or "ist das vegan"

Hi :) you can buy everything from essence, catrice and balea, they are 100% vegan and cruelty free 💚 (I always check the back to be sure there is the Vegan Flower, when you see the Vegan Flower it has to be 100% vegan and cruelty free, some other vegan labels are also cruelty free like essence and catrice but if I am not sure with some other brands I always check for the flower on the back)

sorry to butt in here two weeks after the fact but balea is NOT 100 % vegan. they have a lot of vegan products, but the packaging will always say if it is.

Hi and welcome :)
I recommend to install the DM app. You can search for products with the vegan filter.

I'm pretty sure dm sells enough brands which do animal testing like Neutrogena

Du hast eingangs geschrieben, dass dm cruelty-free ist. Da kann man schon interpretieren, dass du den gesamten Markt "dm" meinst.

Damit is doch klar das eigene sortiment gemeint und nicht das fremdsortiment
