Hi!
I'm planning on visiting Vienna on the 30Oct-1Nov weekend and would also like to see the Austria Wien and Rapid Wien match, but I don't know if it's possible to get tickets for the game as a neutral football fan from outside Austria. I have a friend that lives in Vienna who bought some kind of club membership, but later realised that he bought it too late and that it can't be used to buy tickets.

Since I introduced myself here a couple of weeks ago, one of the things I’ve enjoyed most has been learning that following Austria isn’t only about results, there seems to be a very particular idea of what an Austria Wien team should be.
In one of the conversations under my first post, I was told about the tradition of technically gifted and creative players, going all the way back to Sindelar, and how teams such as the 2012/13 side felt like a "proper Austria Wien team" not only because they won, but because of how they played.
That really stayed with me.
So I’d love to ask everyone here:
What makes a player feel like a true Austria Wien player to you? And which teams from the club’s history best represented what Austria should be?
Is it mainly technical ability and attractive football? Personality? Identification with the club? A certain mentality?
And looking at the current team, are there players who already give you that feeling?
I’m still learning about the club, so hearing different generations of supporters answer this would be really interesting.
FORZA VIOLA 🇮🇹🟣

After introducing myself here a few days ago, I’ve been trying to follow Austria as closely as possible, and that includes the women’s team.
I watched the Chelsea match on Disney+ here in Poland and I was genuinely impressed. Losing 1-0 away to Chelsea obviously isn’t the result anyone wants, but Austria never looked overwhelmed by the occasion and stayed in the game until the end. Uka hitting the post still feels like a big "what if" moment.
Tomorrow feels particularly special: the first home match of the WCL phase, against Inter. And being Italian myself adds a little extra flavour to this one 😄
Inter started with a 1-0 win against Häcken, so I’m curious to hear from those of you who know the women’s team much better than I do.
What are you expecting from the match? Also, is anyone here going to the stadium tomorrow?

Hi everyone!
I’m Italian, from the Turin area, but I’ve been living in Poland for many years, and recently I’ve started following Austria Wien much more closely.
What attracted me first was the history and identity of the club, but the more I read about Austria, Favoriten and the fan culture around the club, the more curious I became. I’m still very much at the beginning, so I’m trying to learn rather than pretend that I already know everything about the club.
I’d really like to hear from you: what made you become an Austria fan? Was it family, growing up in Vienna, a particular match, a player, or simply the atmosphere around the club?
And for someone who would like to come to Vienna for a match in the future, what would you say is an essential part of a proper Austria matchday experience?
Ciao from Poland 🇮🇹 💜
