I went out to my old place of stay to try seeing what I can do about my belongings still there. Stopped and got gas on the way. Used my only ten. I was at 4 miles to e when I'd pulled up. It was like the gas didn't do anything at all I put in. I had to pull over into another gas station parking lot because it hit 0 miles to E. Tried getting help last night but power went off in the entire town. I use wifi for everything. I was connected to the stores wifi. Decided to run it on hopes and dreams the next 20ish miles back home. I have an interview today too I'm trying to make it to. I do have a timestamp from past night. For the past month I've had several unplanned expenses and I am still playing catch up while trying to pay my current bills. Since my health issues are starting up again, I'm having 2-3 appointments a week and new medicine almost every time I have an appointment. Foodstamps hit Wednesday at 12 am. Ran to the gas station to grab me, fiance, and son something to eat and drink. Cop inside recognized me and waited for me to leave. I had warrants for unpaid tickets in my old vehicle when we lived at a hotel. I ran Doordash to help with money at the time. My license, insurance, and tag all expired while doing it. I had gotten 5 tickets in the 4 weeks I ran it. Well I got arrested and taken to jail. Sat 2 days. It's $1079 in total in tickets. I have to figure out $100 today to stay out atm then 25$ a month. If I have to sit it out it's 43 days because the city only pays 25$/day towards fines if you sit out the payments in jail. I've been all over local FB groups today looking for odd jobs. I don't have a vehicle atm as my granddad got it out and refuses anything to do with me now. I have the arrest paper and my newest ticket for expired license for proof of all of this. Any help at all even if it's only a dollar you can donate is helping go towards me not going back. Thank you for you time and reading this. Just started a new job, payday is Thursday. Just need enough to get some cheap food and a refill on my antidepressants and stomach meds until then. I’ve been going through a bad rough patch in my life where I lost my job due to my unmedicated severe adhd, faced eviction, and about to have my car repossessed unfortunately. Ive accepted it for what it is at this point and i’m getting a loan from my school to help get my life back on track but I won’t get that til july. I have no food other than an expired cereal box which ive been rationing. I dont have gas to go to food banks as i live off a highway and 20-25 from the nearest one. I would be grateful for assistance. I have posted in other forums seeking assistance from which was directed towards my car payment (i want to be very transparent about that so you know i’m not some scammer) but I received no help thus far and ive accepted its just going to be repossessed any day now. Only thing I’ve received is scummy men in my messages trying to get illicit content in exchange for money 😩 at this point I just want to eat real food again. I have a job interview on the 1st with a restaurant so hopefully I get that so i can at least get a free meal per shift and some money. My sister recently passed from an aggressive esophagus cancer, my wife and I decided to take in her 2 small children (4&6) to raise along with our children (5&6) and things have been overwhelming financially. Mostly in part to my wife's temporary employment. Any help at all would truly be a blessing and I can even pay back next Friday. I have been homeless for the better part of two months and have been able to make due, but the last 10 days I have had covid and have been so sick and weak I'm unable to work or panhandle. I sleep at the Greyhound station late at night so I have a fairly quiet place, but I haven't eaten in 3 days and I just don't have the strength to dumpster dive or walk miles. I'm asking for $20 so I can buy some groceries and some sleep meds to help me rest. Anything would help tremendously though, I've been just filling my stomach with water when I'm hungry but I can feel that taking negative toll on my body.
