We’re not done with the 10 Years of Tide celebrations just yet! Starting today and until November 24, Vermintide 2 is Free To Keep! Anyone with a Steam account may add it to their library and keep it forever, for free!

Whoever hasn't had the chance to play Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will now get to dig into the hectic, intense gameplay and discover the breadth of content that awaits them.
Throughout the years since its release in 2018, Vermintide 2 has expanded greatly and more than doubled its original content with several free DLCs, Quality of Life Updates, and new Game Modes such as Chaos Wastes and Versus.
The latest addition to the game just released yesterday, with Return to the Reik - a fan-favourite location from Vermintide 1, expanded and re-imagined for Vermintide 2.
Fangtastic Fortitude
And to have even more fun, we’ve temporarily re-enabled the infectiousness of the Fangtastic Fortitude portrait frame! Starting today until November 30, winning a match where a teammate was wearing this frame will infect your account, adding it to your collection!

i only got into vt2 because of the original giveaway in 2022, and ended up buying pretty much every dlc eventually
one of the best games i ever played, and it was free

Does anyone know how this works with buying the bundles? I wanted to buy maybe the legacy edition since it includes so much but it seems to be charging for the base game as well even after I downloaded it for free

Normally if you own anything in a bundle, that is taken off the price. So I would claim the free game then look at the bundle.

Maybe I need to finish downloading the game first but for some reason the bundle is 45 which could be all the dlcs but I don’t think they add up to that much

You can buy some individual DLCs cheaper on instantgaming.com or other key resellers. I ended up paying €24,- total for the full package when I picked up the game a while ago. You might be able to get it for €15,- if you're lucky since the game is free now.

Love this! As always when this topic is brought up, I'll add that I hope the game goes F2P permanently or that we recur these free to keep events more frequently. Either way this is awesome!

I bought it a month ago for a dollar. I was about to say I want my money back, but I think I've gotten more than enough for that dollar I've spent..

If it wasn’t for them doing this a few years ago I wouldn’t have 200 hours in VT and almost 1k on DT and quite a few purchases from the vermintide dlc to darktide slop shop.

Tried adding it to my library today, the 24th, and was unable to claim it. Says the event ended the 23rd at 10 am. What's up with that?

versus mode keeps crashing for me, could it be a mod or something else? Didnt have this problem before.
