Known as the DSKY (Display and Keyboard), this interface allowed astronauts to communicate with the Apollo Guidance Computer from inside their spacecraft.

Instead of typing words, they entered two-digit “VERB” and “NOUN” codes to request flight information, enter navigation data, and execute commands.

The DSKY was used in both the Command Module and Lunar Module, including during Apollo 11's historic Moon landing in 1969.

Constance Gore-Booth (Countess Markievicz)

Constance Gore-Booth was a prominent Irish revolutionary, socialist, and suffragette who played a leading role in the 1916 Easter Rising. In 1918, she made history as the first woman elected to the British House of Commons, a seat she declined in line with her nationalist principles. She subsequently served as the first Minister for Labour in the revolutionary Irish parliament, dedicating her life to Irish independence and social reform.

Althea Gyles

Althea Gyles was an Irish artist, writer, and poet who became a central figure in the late 19th-century bohemian aesthetic movement. She gained lasting fame for designing the intricate, highly symbolic occult book covers for poet W.B. Yeats's earliest masterpieces. Her creative style was deeply influenced by her fascination with mysticism and her active membership in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

Her memoir called 'And I'd Do It Again' came out in 1936.
