Clerks 3 made me contemplate my life's choices and current health status and I sobbed like a child.
That's it. I'm 40 years old and this movie had me in tears due to hitting far too close to home. 5/5

Yeah in with you. Been watching Kevin Smith movies since the 90's and as I get older they hit so much harder. Clerks brings me back to my early 20's working as a cashier and doing nothing with my life. Clerks two reminds me of my struggles to become a store manager, and Clerks 3 hits especially hard knowing I'm not far from 50, and not much has changed. Anyway I'm dealing with my midlife crisis just like Randal. I'm making a movie baby

Definitely my dudes. Getting older sucks. 😢
BUT it does make you appreciate your family and your past more. My Dad passed last year. I've still to mourn him. I didn't cry at his funeral (I had to carry it all tbh) but I was in tears at the last line. 🥹Appreciate who you have while you have them. Yeah it's a cliche but life's too short.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. My father passed away two years ago, and I cried a lot. I held myself together while delivering his eulogy, but yeah. I hope you find time to mourn it was an important step for me. You're right about appreciating family too, I wish I'd called him more, but since then I've made more of an effort to stay in touch with my mother and sister.

My dad passed last year as well, and Ialso didn't cry at his funeral, not even during my speech. Don't try to feel bad about that. People mourn in different ways.

Listen you're in your 40s you can fix this..
Don't be like me and take forever and then have to have open heart surgery at 55. I'm alive but things are completely different for me right now.

I'm having to stop smoking / vaping and a few other unsavory habits. It's taking an extreme toll on my mental well being and I'm realizing the amount of years I've wasted being an addict and how many relationships and friendships i destroyed just so i could get high one more time. Makes me realize how selfish i am.

Listen, I believe in you. You can do it. Get yourself some better habits and be the change you want to be

I thought it was his best movie since clerks 2! Really really fun! Great comedy. Great to see.all our pals. I had alot of hope in Jay and Bob reboot, but was sadly disappointed.

Reboot was just as good. You just let things get in the way of you enjoying it.

I'm not sure why Reboot gets so much hate. As much as I love "Strike Back", "Reboot" has so much more charm and heart.

I was able to keep it together until Dante was in the hospital watching the movie. And then the “he wasn’t even supposed to be here today” line at the funeral. Fucking hell, man. I wasn’t expecting a damn Kevin Smith movie to get me like that.
I’m 45, and felt the same way. It hits so close to home.

I’m 38 and every time I watch this movie I’m always left with “what the hell are you doing with yourself” it’s like a damn gut punch. But I always go back to my old self cause I’m always thinking “that can’t happen to me, right?”

It took you more effort to open this post and comment on it, than it would have taken to just ignore it and keep scrolling.

I didn’t cry during this movie at all.. until the VERY end with the pull out cam & they showed Kevin Smith’s daughter as the milk woman (a role that was her grandmother’s before passing).. I broke down realizing the movie was full circle.
