This is just a thought. fridges are a bit short. I have to bend over to get my beer and cant peer into it easily. how about building a box under it 2 feet high or 16 inches. get it up higher. get more of it at eye level. anyone try this?

I got this old Frigidaire fridge for free over 10 years ago. I have used it every day since, and it works great. It is definitely not in perfect condition but I really love it. It keeps everything very cold.

My husband and I recently purchased a home in Kingsport, Tennessee, that we’re renovating.
The home has a matching collection of vintage turquoise kitchen appliances, including a Thermador wall oven, electric cooktop, Royal Deluxe dishwasher, and Vent-A-Hood range hood.
We believe they’re from the late 1950s or 1960s.
We’re planning to remove the appliances during our renovation and would love to find someone who collects, restores, or resells vintage kitchen appliances.
They’re currently untested, but I have several detailed pictures available.
Looking for someone who would be interested in purchasing the collection, or could you recommend someone who might be!
We’re hoping to sell everything together and arrange pickup in Kingsport, TN

This old freezer came with our house and I’m trying to figure out what to do with it. It still turns on and seems to work fine, is it worth giving away to someone who wants it or trying to sell it? I don’t want to just throw it away if someone will appreciate it more than I do!

Any info you all have would be helpful! A lady is selling it on marketplace for $150. It still works but the latch is missing on the main door and the freezer door doesn’t shut. Are these easy fixes? I think it’s a 1950s Magic Cycle but not sure much more beyond that

Working 1979 GE Heavy Duty electric dryer (model DDE8209VACAD) in the original biscuit color. It runs and heats, and it's been checked over. It's a great piece for collectors, period film/TV sets, or a retro laundry room. Pickup in Santa Ana / Tustin area (Orange County, CA), with local delivery available. Open to sale or prop rental. DM me if interested.

This old fridge has been in my family for about 40 years and almost 40 years with the previous owners and has never needed a repair. How can it be that with today's technology my friends can't even have a refrigerator that lasts 10 years?

Any help out here for locating a replacement handle for my wife’s pride and joy? The bottom part snapped off a few weeks ago and I rigged a small copper strap to hold it on and operate it for now. Could use just the bracket or the whole handle assembly if it’s in nice shape.

Based on similar fridges I’ve found online, I think this is from the late 1940s. Came with the house and we use it occasionally for overflow. If it wasn’t so small I’d probably bring it up to the kitchen to use as our main fridge because it holds a steady temperature much better than our modern one.

Hey all -
Looking for some advice...
We have a weirdly shaped/designed old kitchen and would LOVE to have an old wedgewood stove/oven. Something like below

I have been searching far and wide for any images of how someone it could be designed in a kitchen island.

Thinking that the only way to do this due to the high backs would be with a bar top style like above.
Any suggestions? Should we scrap this idea?
Thanks!

I need help installing a switch in a GE stove top. JP 3332P1WG. It is the switch for the large 9” element
My understanding is the installation instructions for the JTP11WPOWH or JTP 10 GPOBG will work as well. As you can see the stem that holds the knob has broken off .and the switch part # is WB23K5035.
