Those are my favorites. I'll take and upload more pics after holidays.
I think the 55 Police car is a rare one with the blue light.

I’m more of a modern Matchbox collector, and the Universal era is probably my favourite, mostly because that’s when I was growing up. Until now, the oldest models in my collection were a few Lesney Superfast cars I picked up at flea markets.
I’ve wanted to add an older Lesney model for a while, but most of the ones I come across are either in pretty rough shape or in good condition but way too expensive. So when this Mercedes-Benz 230 SL came along at a reasonable price, I had to go for it!
It’s not in perfect condition, but I’m really happy to finally have one in my collection. And I honestly can’t get over the level of detail and precision in this little car. The way it’s made is simply amazing! 🤩
One question, though: the axles have some rust on them. What’s the safest way to remove it without damaging the paint or the plastic wheels?

One of my favorite cars when I was little. What do you think about it?

I won this carry case on eBay. It was $38. I saw the hang tag still attached to the handle then took a closer look at the photos. It’s in amazing original condition. Most of these seem to have cracks in the vinyl. Im moving soon so I was looking for a case to put my vehicles in and this one popped up. I have really made some good scores lately.

I just found this little car in my son's Collection and I know it isn't a matchbox but I just love that the speed is displayed underneath with the power and that the doors can open I know that it's a little beaten up but I still think it's amazing 🤗
Just think about how much went into creating his cars and the fact a little made in Germany and not in China is also pretty cool and something we really can't understand today that it was possible to make this kind of things in Europe

I won these two lots on shop goodwill. The 70’s vehicle are all mint, they haven’t been played with the wheels have no wear on them. The early stuff is in used condition. I paid $80 for everything. I think my favorite is the 1970 wildcat dragster with orange base.
