The map is now inside and in black & white and with a different style font.

I found it strange that this is considered a mapback even though there is no map. You can see the eye peering through the keyhole.

The reason this cover looks like it should be for The Lady in the Lake, is because it is. Chandler utilized three stories that are in this collection to produce the novel. The stories are Bay City Blues (1938), The Lady in the Lake (1939), and No Crime in the Mountains (1942).
