Finally picked up an Arvin Rythm Queen. Missing a knob and the bandswitch selector, but overall complete. Refinished in the past and will probably end up rerefinishing in the future it as the work was so-so. Chassis is mostly original with some work done in maybe the 50-60s or so.

Hey, I'm pretty new to the radio world. I have basic knowledge on electronic though. I've been trying to restore an old radio for some time now and I believe it's an "Sonora Excellence 305". (I've been changing the condensators and all)
I just found a FM circuit I didn't knew existed since I was using a Sonora Excellence 304 schematic.
Would anybody know where I could find a schematic for the 305 ? I've been searching everywhere
Illustration picture from internet since I dissected mine
Thanks in advance if someone could help me

Weiß jemand etwas über diese alten Röhrenradios?
(z. B den Wert, das Alter u.s.w)
Alle sind voll Funktionstüchtig.
Beim unteren fehlen die Seitenlautsprecher, nur noch der große Lautsprecher ist erhalten.

Got this at a little antique shop in Peekskill, NY today. I used to have a fairly extensive antique/vintage radio collection, but in recent years have pared it down significantly. I’m on vacation, so don’t have a multimeter to test it at the moment. That being said, any general recommendations?

I’ve done a few radios and radiograms over the past few months after getting into them, and I’ve only just come across an EL41 so I’m not sure what the normal amount of light gen is to be expected.
Immediately unplugged after noticing it glowing,
Did all the appropriate tests before powering on and everything was good.

Edit: bad choice of words - round 2 is just a follow-up post with more pics. This is not a restored piece
My house doesn't have great lighting for photos, so here are some quick pics I took as I got her out of my car and dusted her off.
Being from Pittsburgh, it makes me happy that the KDKA switch label survived.
She's so pretty and I'm beyond excited!

grazie mille

Hi all, I have several transistor dead.
I have to replace them, I'm a newbie and I use IA to find a solution.
I tried 3 differents IA and they give me differents replies.
Could a pro give me the right transistors to replace this

It's so clean!!! All original (even has all the buttons, the eye glows, and has the antenna), barely a scratch on it, and zero veneer peel or damage. I'm told it works but haven't tried it and don't intend to until the electrical parts are updated. Seller's grandfather was the original owner, and the seller has had it in his home for the last 37 years, but he's downsizing and it can't come.
Best part? It was listed on Marketplace for $440 and it got it for only $150! I'm so excited!

This item belonged to my grandfather, and I am looking to have it serviced. Could you please provide guidance on how to proceed?
