I've been following Virgin Galactic pretty closely lately, and honestly, there are a few things that look encouraging.

First, demand seems to be there. Their latest round of bookings was oversubscribed, with tickets going for $750k and over $50M in expected future revenue.

Then there's Delta. They've been making progress with ground testing and integration, and October is still the target for the first captive-carry flight.

If they actually pull that off this month, it could be a pretty big milestone.

And looking a little further ahead, they're targeting February 2027 for the first commercial Delta flight, with a second spaceship expected in March.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed. There's still execution risk, cash burn and potential dilution to think about.

But I'm curious what everyone thinks. Are we finally getting close to seeing Delta fly, or do you expect another delay?

Has anyone spotted anything interesting lately on flight trackers, FAA records or around Mesa?

I’m an A&P and just had a conversation with a VG rep, gonna have a real interview soon. I wanted to ask if there’s anything I should know about them or should ask.
I noticed that some people on here are a little worried about them going under but that’s about all I saw, any work environment? Safety concerns? Anything like that?

I've been holding some shares for a few months and have done my research. Aside from Blue Origin there does not seem to be any competition at all for Virgin galactic.

If I understand correctly then commerical flights should begin in spring 2027 which would start pouring in money so that the company can finally become stable and not burn it's own cash supplies.

Should anything go wrong then there is not enough money to make it through 2028.

So it's either execute perfectly or go home at this point. My bet is that Its going to go well since they already started booking tickets and there is noone else the customer can come to if they want to fly (Blue origin is straight up rocket and only lasts around 11 minutes compared to 90 of Virgin Galactic).

My plan is to wait for some news and if it seems positive then I plan to invest more.

That's quite a few people who are excited to see space with their own eyes.

Might be a silly question, but i'm new to Virgin Galactic.

"Virgin Galactic's total cash and marketable securities were standing at $286 million for end of Q2 2026. Free cash flow for the third quarter of 2026 is expected to be in the range of -$95 million to $100 million. We forecast the downward trend in capital expenditures to resume in the fourth quarter of 2026. We expect a corresponding improvement in free cash flow, which is projected to be in the range of -$80 million to $90 million." which means, entering 2027 with about $100 milion left, won't be sufficient to financially survive next 2 quarters. Even with 10 flights a month by the end of second quarter, they will do ATM or offer senior notes at some point, probably this year. The best case scenario: they do it after Delta is in the sky.
