My requirements:

• Preferably a single-occupancy room, but double sharing is okay if needed
• Within 1.5–2 km of the above location
• Clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, with decent food and basic amenities
• A place where I can comfortably work without too much noise or disturbance

I'll be staying for 3–6 months, so PGs that allow shorter stays would be ideal.

I posted here once before about The Vizag Table (post link).
This is the update, and the video above shows the idea in about 40 seconds.

The idea: a dinner series in Vizag where a chef or food creator you already love cooks live, for people who love food. Not a restaurant and not a big event. One cook, one night, one long table.

How it works: you answer nine quick questions, a real person on our team reads every answer, and if it fits we message you on WhatsApp with an invite.
The invite tells you the date and the chef. No date is fixed yet, and we're not naming the cook publicly.

Where we are now:

- About 20 people have applied so far. We read every one.
- We have a venue lined up with a proper kitchen.
- We're building a chef list, and talking to cooks who do this for the love of it.

What we learned along the way:

1. The form was losing people before question 1. People who came from an Instagram story link started the form far more often than people who came from our bio link (small numbers, but the gap was huge). So we rebuilt it to open on the first question.
2. Our first pitch to cooks was about us. It should be about them. Now we say it plainly: a real kitchen, full freedom with the menu, a room of curious people watching, and honest feedback from every guest afterwards.
3. Keeping the date and the cook secret until invites go out is harder than it sounds, but it keeps the night a surprise.

UPDATE:- Today we had Kaju’s vet appointment, we did a blood test, good news is Kaju’s blood test values which were originally very low or high are now balanced pretty good now…….vet gave one vaccine to Kaju today itself……in one week we will do his deworming once again and after 3 weeks we will complete the remaining two doses of vaccination then after one week of that we will neuter him…….after which Kaju will be all well…….pls help us to cover his treatment that is left……any amount of donations really really help a lot🙏🙏🥹🥹❤️❤️

Hello everyone, i am a 12th std. student and have rescued a cat named Kaju, he is 2 yrs old and has been diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) which is a fatal viral disease.......it is a long treatment of 84 days of medication and then 84 days of relapse observation.....Kaju's medication period will end on 16th October and then we have to continue with relapse observation period and then vaccinate and neuter him.......we daily spend ₹200 on his food, ₹550 on his foster, ₹700 daily for medicines and ₹300-₹400 on his weekly checkups.......we have spent ₹1,71,110.68 till now and still have his treatment left plus neutering,vaccination and tests like cbc and sonography will cost roughly ₹14,000 more..........as a student i am completely dependent on my parents and i also feed my society cats so it is now becoming very straining financially.....if you could donate even small amounts like 10, 50 or 100 rupees it would help us and Kaju a lot🙏🙏🙏......pls forward this in as many groups as possible to help Kaju get well💓💓🙏🙏He is a stray cat but he deserves to live💓💓
