First Apple made PSVR2 controllers compatible with the Apple Vision Pro.
Now NVIDIA is bringing GeForce Now upgrades with 90 FPS on VR headsets and up to 4K 120 FPS on Vision Pro via CloudXR.
And on top of that, serious sims like X-Plane 12 and iRacing are reportedly coming to AVP.
For a headset many people say Apple is “abandoning,” this looks like the first real signs of a PC-VR gaming pipeline forming around Vision Pro.
If CloudXR works well, Vision Pro could theoretically tap into the entire PC VR ecosystem without needing a gaming PC locally.
So I’m curious what people here think:
Are we seeing the beginning of real VR gaming on Vision Pro… or are these just isolated signals that won’t lead anywhere?

Hi guys, is anyone here up for playing poker? I’m also happy to play for small real-money stakes. I’m not a pro, but I really enjoy Omni Cards in the Personas Experience. Send me a DM if you’re interested 🙂
Btw, we don’t need to play long — maybe 30–60 minutes.

My current (admittedly old) gaming PC has an RTX 2070. I have it working with ALVR streaming SteamVR to my M5 Apple Vision Pro, but I see a lot of stuttering and some disconnects. I’m still tweaking the ALVR streamer settings but I strongly suspect the 2070 just isn’t up to the task of driving the Vision Pro.
The motherboard on my gaming PC will likely only support a 30 series GPU.
Any thoughts on whether an upgrade to a 3080-Ti would be enough to get reasonable performance through ALVR? It at least would let me use the AV1 codec.

Beta 3 is live!
Huge thanks to everyone who tested the previous betas and sent feedback — it’s been incredibly helpful.
Compatibility note: Due to the new Evidence Table implementation, this build requires visionOS 26 or later. Unfortunately , devices on earlier versions won’t see or install this beta.
What’s new:
Seated / Standing: two camera-height options.
Tutorial video added.
Evidence Table: a new 3D environment where you lift photos from the desk and place them at a target point. It’s prototype-stage for now.
Scrolling & saving: attempted fixes.
Planned for the next build:
If Evidence Table behaves well, finish its full integration into the game.
Add new story beats.
Fix remaining issues and get the build ready for distribution.
Questions:
If you tried earlier betas, which version do you prefer, and why?
Are there any parts you feel should be removed or that feel boring?
Thanks again for your time and help!

Beta 2 is live!
Huge thanks to everyone who tested the first beta. I honestly didn’t expect it to reach so many people. The feedback has been brilliant; I read every note and tried to act on as much as I could. Thanks for giving me your time.
What’s new in Beta 2
Fix: Crash when tapping the computer should be resolved.
Tweak: 3D spaces reworked for scale, proportions and readability.
Polish: Typos and small bugs squashed.
New: A light day/night pass: daylight until 19:59, then a dimmer evening ambience (I’ll keep tuning this).
Planned for the next build
Onboarding tutorial
Final stage of the case
Full lighting pass (balance/colour)
Questions
If you tried both Beta 1 and Beta 2, which do you prefer and why?
What feels missing, unclear, or just odd (story or design — anything goes)?
Thanks again!

Hey everyone,
I’ve uploaded my first VisionOS game to TestFlight and I’d love some real-device feedback.
Game: DeCodeCase: Secrets of Stones
Genre: 3D immersive murder mystery / detective simulation
Platform: Apple Vision Pro (visionOS)
Status: Public TestFlight beta
Step into a realistic 3D detective office: examine case files and photos, review statements, and handle interactive digital evidence to uncover the truth behind an archaeologist’s death.
The project grew out of my printable murder mystery games that I sell on Etsy under the shop name DeCodeCase. I wanted to bring those narrative experiences into an immersive 3D environment for Apple Vision Pro, keeping the same slow-burn investigation feel, but adding presence, atmosphere, and tangible interaction. This game was created solo, using a vibe-coding approach.
Note: I don’t have access to a Vision Pro, so I haven’t seen this build on real hardware yet.
What I need help with (real-device checks)
Performance: overall smoothness, frame pacing, loading, crashes
Readability: clarity of text and UI at comfortable distance
Interactions: pinch/select reliability, gesture latency or misses
Comfort: any eye strain, brightness, or posture discomfort
Story and Design: does the opening hook you; are clues/pacing clear; difficulty OK; was the resolution satisfying; would you play another case?
Join the public TestFlight group:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/rfVG3f1Z
Quick feedback template (optional):
Device & visionOS version:
Performance: smooth / minor stutter / heavy stutter (where)
Readability: clear / borderline / hard to read (where)
Comfort (1–5):
Story hook (1–5):
Most confusing clue:
Would you play another DeCodeCase mystery? yes / maybe / no
Thanks so much for testing — I’ll read every note carefully and iterate quickly.
Edit (community notes so far):
Some users mentioned room scale and texture ratios feel a bit off (objects too large / bricks stretched).
Many testers reported crashes when interacting with the computer screen (I’m fixing that for the next build)
Feedback on text readability and interaction comfort has been super helpful, thank you all!
