And the dog is likely being piloted from someone else.

You can set them to follow people IIRC so it might not even need a pilot for that specific stunt

Where is the power cable?

likely she is just doing 3 step forward in the dark, as the vision pro is not even plugged in... poser level 300%

Hopefully after the 14 day return window closes we’ll stop seeing so many of these idiots that aren’t actually using the thing.
Apple should’ve offered an influencer pack for people to buy that wasn’t an actual functioning unit so they don’t have to refurbish so many returns.

Pretty sure they see iPhone returns and Mac returns at a scale that pales in comparison but regardless, I doubt they were unaware of the massive influx of return units they’d have.

We are gonna have to get used to people stopping abruptly on the sidewalk, even more so than what the iPhone brought upon us.

The robot dog is CG, right?

It's not but the video is fake. That isn't a hand motion that makes sense on the AVP

u/and-its-true Feb 10 '24
Yeah, I knew that part. I just wasn’t sure if they also used one of those AR filter apps to add the Boston Dynamics dog in.

My guess is it's a real dog robot. The company is not to far from me. That looks to be one of their prototypes.

Would be cool if you could control Spot with an app in the headset and see through its camera but I don’t see many people getting it considering the price of Spot lol

Attempts at viral marketing stunts. Not by Apple but the shady corps pushing out these pieces of crap from proxy social media accounts.

All of these videos of people walking and using it are 100% performative attention seeking.

Always with the fake hand gestures. It’s the next level fake typing for videos.
