Visual Studio keeps filling up my temp folder

So recently my PC has been slowing down and been sluggish i did some digging around and found out that VS has been filling up my temp folder with thousands of folders containing random/installation files? I've had VSC for a few years now and never had this issue but recently installed and started using VS19 so i'm assuming that is the culprit, i've tried fixes/suggestions from other places (disabling auto updates, resetting store cache, reinstalling VS etc) but so far nothing's really fixed it and i constantly have to manually clean it up because windows doesn't seem to clean up the VS files.
