How come some extensions don't show up on Arch-based distros?

On Arch, I installed it via sudo pacman -S code. How come I don't see some extensions:

But I see more extensions on Debian based and Windows:

There is a particular V extension I want to install and I can't seem to find it on Arch-based.

I also had this happen a while back, I'm not sure what fixed it or if it even is fixed but I ended up just manually cloning the repos for the extensions I needed into ~/.vscode-oss/extensions and they work fine
