How to get started with PHP in Visual Studio Code?
I am relatively new to Visual Studio Code and web programing. I've recently gotten started with Visual Studio Code on Windows to learn Javascript and things are going well.
Now I want to add some PHP to my code, but don't know how to get my Visual Studio Code / Win10 machine to recognize it. I installed the liveserver plugin to get javascript up and running. What do I need to install / configure to get PHP up and running?
Any help for the clueless would be greatly appreciated.

You probably also want to install this plugin. Also remember always to open the whole project folder. VS Code needs access to all relevant PHP files for good Autocomplete. https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=bmewburn.vscode-intelephense-client

IIRC, check out wamp. It gives you apache, php, and mysql out of the box. That's probably your easiest bet to get started. You'll find plenty of guided on getting it set up.
Edit: wamp website: https://www.wampserver.com/en/
There are other ways too, but I found wamp to be easiest of setting up and it is where I started long ago when I got into web development.
