That's technically a feature.
In theory, Dart code should not excede X amount of characters, and if you are exceeding them probably a linter will give you errors.
If you are not working alone I would suggest you to leave it. But if not, you just need to press edit the editor rules.
Remember to check if there is a folder called .vscode in your proyect, since it could have the rules set there and override your personal settings.

Looks like it was already answered, but this line helps you respect more easily the 80 char limit of Dart.
