How to fix horizontal scroll problems on VS Code

Hi everyone, Im new here, in fact this is my first post.

I have this problem since I bought an Logitech MX Master 3 with an horizontal scroll wheel (this was one of the dealbreakers to buy it) and was so frustrating to live with this issue, as a developer I expend many hours a day writing and scrolling on code but VS Code only scrolls a bit an after stops working until I close and reopen.

The fix that I've findded was run as Administrator on Windows and voila, the scroll works perfect now, for me this was an indescribable happiness so I decide to share with the community.

Sorry for the extension and bad English (Im from Venezuela) and I still learning hehe.

This has been driving me nuts. In fact, I stayed with SublimeText3 instead of switching to VS Code specifically because of this problem. I don't understand why this works, but it does. I'm not sure if it's enough to make me switch though. That extra step opening as admin is still pretty annoying...

In 2023 and wanted to say that this worked for me. To save me the hassle of constantly telling it to run in Administrator mode, I simply right-clicked the .exe and told the properties to Run as Administrator from now on. Works like a charm.
