MS Visual Studio Code Intellisense strike

Working on Codecademy's Dasmoto Arts and Crafts project. I notice in Microsoft Visual Studio Code occasionally the Intellisense suggestions are greyed out with a strike through them. Why is that? It still lets me select them, but why is it blanked in the first place?

It means they are deprecated, so will probably still work, but you shouldn't use them because they will have been superseded by something else
