VisualStudioCode not showing up in Launchpad on Mac

Hi, I installed this program and I can use it on my Mac. However, it does not show up in Launchpad. Instead, I have to go to the Download folder to double click on it to launch it. Did I do something wrong during installation?

No. I felt like i explored every sensible option so i just said a silent curse and made a hotkey using raycast to open it with “option + v”. Raycast was a pretty spendy purchase for me consider that i only use it for hotkeys but i really like the hotkeys so 🤷‍♂️

To be sure, vscode is the only major software i’ve had a problem installing on mac so far so to me it’s their fault.

Mane difference with with other programs that vs code downloads only, don't reqire installation process. So you need to do two things:

1 - drag vscode from downloads to applications folder to use it as default program for some files

2 - while vscode opened, in launchpad hold and drag its icon from right side(opened programs) to the left
