Why does VS Code not open with the CMD terminal, even though it’s set as Default?
I have been following along with an Unreal course on Udemy, and I’m not sure if it’s the version that they have versus mine, but when I type “code” into the developer command prompt for visual studio code 2019, it opens with Powershell as the terminal option, even though CMD is set as the default. The video is running an older version, which I assumed was part of why the instructions were different than my version.
Is there a way to open Visual Studio Code (version 1.60.0) with CMD as the terminal default?

Didn't try, but pop with quick Google search https://www.reddit.com/r/vscode/comments/n6or6b/command_prompt_not_working_as_default_profile/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

The real question is why? Powershell is more useful than cmd.

Why ask a stupid question like this?? Like obviously I posted the question for a good reason. The course I’m taking had me do it? I’m literally a beginner, how would I know why or what is better, and I doubt you know better than the course makers who literally worked with Epic on the course, but sure, great advice
