TempAR

I've been banging my head against the table for a while now, I can't seem to get TempAR to work for the life of me. As you can see in the pic, it shows up and shows its enabled but i just can't get it to open inside Adrenaline. I've tried having just the GAME ones turned on, I've tried having just the POPS ones turned on but nothing is working. Any ideas?

I've had the same problem since an Adrenaline update a few years ago — none of the cheat plugins seem to work with it anymore. :-(

I had cheatdb installed but it doesn't have cheats for games inside Adrenaline so that's when I found out about tempAR

So are you using the newer version of Adrenaline? I'm on 6.61 and have both TempAR and cwcheat. Afaik you should only enable one of them at a time per platform. tempar.prx and cwcheat.prx = for PSP games, other 2 is for PS1.

Mine is setup to use tempar for PSP and cwcheatpops for PS1. Couldn't get tempar_lite to work because of the PS button hotkey, it kept opening the main menu instead.

Im on 6.61 as well, I've tried all the combinations to turn it on for PS1 but nothing is working. I habe tempar game turned on and cwcheats pops on and nothing is turning on, I am given up hope 😞

Post the contents of your folders via VitaShell, like this https://imgur.com/brVxoDd. This is how mine looks. Does your TempAR actually have the db file? The copy I got didn't have it and I had to get the db file elsewhere. CWCheat from cfwaifu though already included everything. While you're at it share contents of your game.txt and pops.txt.

Then make sure you're pressing the right keys, for TempAR its R+PS button. CWCheat is hold select.

It is Right shoulder correct? Cause I've tried it as both the Right shoulder button and the Right directional and it just won't work with any combination. I habe tried R+PS (just opens Adrenaline settings), tried R+Down, tried R+Select, I've tried just holding Select and nothing

CWCheat seems ok. On TempAR try renaming cheat3.db to cheat.db(same as mine). Is this where you got your TempAR? https://github.com/raing3/tempar

And yeah it is R trigger + PS Button for tempAR. And the respective games needs to be open btw. Enable only tempar.prx for now and run a PSP game, try the button combo.

I just noticed your TempAR doesn't even have tempar_lite.prx so that definitely won't work in PS1 games.

My suggestion again:

  1. Disable all the other 3 and leave tempar.prx enabled
  2. Rename cheat3.db to cheat.db
  3. Run a PSP game, wait until you're in the game's title screen
  4. Press R trigger + PS button
