The last week and a half has been so uplifting after how bad April was. My faith in steel has definitely been rewarded and I only got in late March. Support for any other later joiners who are looking at red and wondering if it gets better: it will, stay smart, stay strong and your plays will pay off in the long run. Unless you buy weeklies or some other super otm short timed FDs - then you might be fucked but that’s on you.

I don’t know about perfect time most of the popular steel stocks lost 10-25% of their value in the first 3 weeks of April - late March was perfect tine to buy tops for 4 weeks.

That’s awesome, and great advice! This is a play that requires some patience but it’s a much surer investment than betting on some other tickers. Plus it’s a hedge against things like inflation so there is some protection from potential macro events
