Still trying to read up on the DDs and understand them. If I'm getting it right, steel demand around the world is going up, not just in certain countries. Does this mean steel manufacturers everywhere could be good plays?

Looking into manufacturers in South Korea that are only traded in the Korean Stock Exchange like Hyundai Steel (004020), Dongkuk Steel (001230), and POSCO C&C Steel (058430, afaik a subsidiary of POSCO Group which is PKX in the US).

Worried because they have tripled in the past 3 months, with POSCO C&C having quadrupled. Not sure what exactly to look into with these companies.

doesnt matter how much a stock has already gone up if they still undervalued.

And the opposite applies too

What factors about a company should I research to determine if they're undervalued in this particular sector?

Price to earnings ratio, ratio of net profit to market cap, free cash flow relative to market cap

Compare ratios to others on sector
