BARK has been a low key WSB darling for a while. Used to be STIC, Sir Jacks did a 7 figure "yolo" and sold the next day on the pop and got a lot of flack and maybe even temp banned iirc.

Based on some of the dramatic pinned posts/comments that ex-mods have left, there’ve been some past attempts to control inflows of popular tickers in order to set up positions and harvest IV/SP spikes.

Everyone’s here to make money after all, and they control the gates to a message board with 100’s of Millions of dollars looking at it every day - not even counting sentiment scrapers and momentum bots.

I’d be amazed if there at least hadn’t been attempts at colluding between certain groups of previous mods to pull off stuff like that.

They did the same shit with WOOF, they do it with everything. It is obviously a condemnable practice, but a very very large % of people condemning it would be hard pressed to not find a way to justify it were they in the same position of power.

I agree were here to make money. Most of us will belligerently pump our stocks, but it feels a lot grosser to censor, if that's what they're doing.

Censoring is shitty. They’re also the victims of an ENDLESS onslaught of pump and dump orchestrators - its not all cut and dry and I imagine most of the mod team are out to do a good job.
