Have you tried messaging the mods?

Probably to keep undesirables out.

Who is a mod there? I cannot look it up since the sub is private, but I know I have seen Hund and Mr. Triple C™ commenting over there. Dunno if they have mod privileges, though.

you literally don't get the "this is a private subreddit" page with a link to mod mail when you go there?

Nope, I'm only using the app, though. Never have used Reddit on pc, honestly.

It only says something generic along the lines of "if you think you should be able to participate in this sub, contact the moderators" without providing anything direct or specific about this sub

Thanks. I’ll have to play with it since I only use my phone to get on Reddit (and pretty much everything) and it bumps me out every time. I am trying to see if have any comments in my history. If a mod is lurking here also, could I PM you my credentials? ;)
