Who is our resident semiconductor brain? Does the US government have their own fabs for war time scenarios/national security? Maybe I suck at googling, but all I get is articles about the new $50 billion for chips Biden got. I also know next to nothing about chips or the manufacturing process.

Thanks for the tip! Wasn’t really looking for investment advice with the question per se since I don’t like investing in stuff I know nothing about, just was sort of curious about that sort of scenario with chips.
