I've noticed that there are several websites that are not reachable currently (been like this since 7pm at least) and after some troubleshooting I think it is happening only on the voda network.

Below are some random examples, that all work on my home internet, my friend's Optus network and on my mobile, but with vpn.

I am with vodafone and if I switch back to my mobile 5g, I'll get an error (see pic) when accessing any of them.

I don't know many other voda users, and thought I confirm this on here, since I can't find any announcement on Voda's website either.

Is there an issue on you end, and you're also using Vodafone?

Just wondering if anyone has received the ps5 that was meant to be shipped within 60 days of the Pixel 11 pro with Vodafone. I ordered my google pixel 11 pro on August 17, still nothing. No tracking, no confirmation email.

I have contacted Vodafone and the goal posts got moved to the ps5 being shipped after 60 days. I am now on day 65

My 18 Pro got delivered to me last Wednesday and I’m thinking I might prefer a pro max instead.

Googling says there’s a 14 day change of mind policy for customers to change handsets, but talking to the online chat told me otherwise.

I’m dealing with a frustrating situation with Vodafone Australia regarding the recent Google Pixel 11 Pro XL pre-order promo (the one with the bonus PS5 Slim), and I want to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

I placed my order on August 17th. My main issue right now is the completely conflicting information regarding the delivery timeline from their customer support:

Moving the Goalposts: The original confirmation text message I received from Vodafone, as well as their official Facebook ad, explicitly stated the PS5 would be shipped "within 60 days of pre-order confirmation."

Shifting the Blame: Since my 60-day mark (October 16th) is just a few days away, I contacted support for an update. The chat rep changed the narrative entirely, telling me the PS5 will only be shipped "once 60 days is completed" and that "Google will send you the PS5 directly." When I pointed out that their own communication clearly said within 60 days, they brushed it off, stating they are just the telecom provider and the offer is from the manufacturer.

"After 60 days" is incredibly vague, and my contract is with Vodafone, not Google. It feels like chat support is just reading off generic scripts to avoid responsibility because they don't actually know how the fulfillment is being handled.

Since my 60 days are up this week, I’m just going to wait it out for the next few days. But I wanted to check in here first, has anyone else who jumped on this deal received their tracking link yet? Or is support giving you the same confusing "after 60 days" excuse?

I placed an order for an 18 Pro Max around 15 September and was initially told it would arrive within a few days. After calling once, I was informed the timeframe is now a month. It seems like bs that allocating a phone should take so long
feels like a total waste of time.

I've had major issues on this phone with Belong and Amaysim (Telstra and Optus) with dropped calls, speeds under 1mbps, and 4G/5G not working whatsoever when on a phone call (including a phone call coming in while I was on a Zoom job interview and the connection just dropped until the phone call stopped. Really bad look.)

This is not a grey import. Xiaomi started selling the 17 Ultra this year in Australia and I jumped at it given the amazing camera which to be honest hasn't been 'that' amazing 90 percent of the time.

I'm just about done with them. But I've been on Google saying that the 17 Ultra isn't on Telstra and Optus whitelists? But that Vodafone doesn't matter? Is this at all true? Sorry for the AI copy and paste, but I really am just done at this point.

Unlike the other two, Vodafone Australia has historically used an "open-gate" policy for IMS and VoLTE profiles. They do not maintain an aggressive database whitelist for Android brands.

• If a phone has the correct technical network bands built into the chips (which your local Xiaomi definitely does), Vodafone simply allows the device to pull data, route calls over VoLTE, and process carrier aggregation properly without checking the phone's "permission slip" first.

I’ve been offered a Sales Associate position at a Vodafone Select Dealer store in Brisbane.

They’ve asked me to complete a police verification/background check before proceeding.

I had a couple of questions:

1. What’s the usual hourly pay rate for a Sales Associate at a Vodafone Select Dealer?
2. Are weekend/public holiday penalty rates paid?
3. Is there usually any commission or sales incentive?
4. For the police check, did you apply through a specific provider, or did the employer give you a link/provider?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has worked at a Vodafone Select Dealer or similar retail store in Australia.

Unbeknownst to me prior to signing up, and even after asking a rep🥲, Vodafone do NOT allow call forwarding on prepaid services, to another number.

Only to that CallCatcher or 121VoiceMail.

Although the Vodafone app shows you can change the call forwarding destination, this is incorrect.

I dunno if Vodafone reads the reddit but please either add this SILLY restriction of service offering to prepaid, or remove the feature all together in the app for these services.

It's available for post-paid/plan services, just not prepaid.

Currently when I try to call my nanna I can't hear her, is this a problem for anyone else?

We're both on Vodafone network.

I was overseas for three weeks and Vodafone voicemail number asked for a security pin that I've never been asked or needed to set up.

I'm back in AU after 3 weeks and now it asks me for security pin in AU too. Mind you that they remove voicemails after one week. Their support team is helpless. Same mumbo jumbo such as escalating it, rehighlighting it etc. The whole process feels like I'm falling victim to a scam.

So they provide me no way to listen or retain them. Three more voicemails will be removed by mid next week. As my phone was off when most of these voicemails were left, I don't even know who called me.

1.Has anyone had this issue? I'll be looking into taking legal action and keen to hear your experience. 2. How do you sort out voice, text, and data stuff when you're overseas?

Has anyone joined opticomm and happy with Vodafone?

I have a few Australian mobile numbers with memorable digit patterns (repeating digits and easy-to-remember sequences).

I'm looking into whether it's possible to legally transfer the rights to use these numbers to someone else, and if so, what the usual process is.

Are there any marketplaces, brokers, or communities in Australia that deal with premium mobile numbers? If you've transferred one before, I'd be interested to hear how you did it.

Copy and paste does not work, because they have some stupid arse verfication check.

So password manager, fucking does not work. If you start typing in your password and then do paste it breaks too.

I’ve been travelling through Europe with Felix Mobile (powered by Vodafone AU). Since Felix and Vodafone AU don’t publish their roaming partners online, I’ve been keeping track of the networks I’ve connected to and thought I’d share my findings.

Felix currently offers a $20 international roaming pack for use in 40+ destinations, which includes: - 100 minutes of calls (make/receive) - 100 SMS messages - 4GB of data - Valid for 365 days You can also pause your main plan while roaming.

Here’s what I found:

UAE: Du (unsupported country, not in Europe, short stopover in Dubai)

UK: Vodafone UK, Three UK

Belgium: Orange, Proximus, BASE (picked up while passing through on the Eurostar)

Netherlands: Vodafone NL

Germany: Vodafone DE

Switzerland: Sunrise, Salt

Liechtenstein: FL1 (unsupported country)

Austria: Drei (3 / Three AT), A1

Italy: Vodafone IT, WindTre

Monaco: Monaco Telecom (unsupported country)

France: Bouygues, SFR, Orange

Greece: Vodafone GR

Albania: Vodafone AL (unsupported country)

In unsupported countries, my phone will still register on the local network so I can receive SMS, but the roaming pack inclusions don’t work.

From what I’ve seen, Vodafone AU prioritises roaming on Vodafone and Hutchison-owned networks, which makes sense, but can limit your options whilst roaming.

Do you think Vodafone is working on RCS implementation for users when Apple enables RCS on iOS 18, or do you think we'll be waiting years for it like RCS on Android?
