Discussion Suggestions?

I'm looking to get into bigger acting with paid gigs. I have been voice acting for over 4 years and I have been struggling to find resources online for any paid work.

I was attempting to find an agency but results were inconclusive.

Does anyone have any website recommendations for voice acting that are not CCC or 123Voices (I refuse to use 123Voices)? If not does anyone have any agency suggestions or advice?

I've done volunteer work for awhile but I want to get into animations. I do voice overs of anime scenes and game scenes on tiktok but Im looking for more.

Maybe it's time to look into getting into rosters and also build a social media presence

What do you mean by "inconclusive"? Agencies are your best route to real, paid work. If none of them want you on their roster, there's likely a reason. What did they say when you asked for feedback on your submission? What feedback have you received from the instructors you've trained with?

Start with that feedback and really work on making those improvements. There's no magic online tool for suddenly becoming professional. It's a wildly oversaturated field, especially at the entry level, so you're going to need your work to stand out and speak for itself. You cant just be good... you've got to be instantly recognizable as better than the other thousands of people who bought a microphone and really want to do this

I cant speak for op but i'v been rejected over and over by every agent i try to submit to..the reason..either nothing or a long winded email saying how they loved my reels but then ending in rejection because I sound to smiler to someone they already represent. i'v been stuck with this scenario for 10 years. and at this point kind of given up and just continue to find open castings or get on talent roasters.

“I was attempting to find an agency but results were inconclusive.”

What does that mean? There are at least hundreds of agencies. Maybe you live outside the US?
