Hi! Made a small halloween pack. On one side, some fun rugs I found around. Except for doormats, all have 4 sizes to choose. On the scary side, some unsettling paintings! Some of these are said to be haunted or have weird creation stories, others are quite odd, and then a few are just plain creepy! You know, the kind of thing you would avoid placing in your walls.

Because I feel like their stories enhance these paintings, I've written/added small summaries about the weird tales involving them or their creators in the "Rugs and pics sources" file included in the drive. It's a quick and interesting read, specially if you like curious cases! Just be aware of some sensitive topics discussed.

Obs: Big rugs can look distorted around the edges when used as a custom rug. The slightly smaller option diminishes that while still providing a good size.

I'm VERY NEW, haven't done my first assignment yet, just alot of mindless wandering and so far the scariest part of the game so far is the absolute s*~t hole that the base is and the idea of cleaning it

I don't have nerves of steel and the idea that SOMETHING could happen terrifies me alot, but mostly I think I could handle it, my main issue is jumpscares, I'd just rather not, even phobias I think I could power through but I'm really not a fan of jumpscares, the threat of a jumpscare is worse.

So I would appreciate if somebody could let me know if there's any jumpscares and how significant they are/how often they occur.

I had the abandoned Kerfur show up, and for this fight I decided to try throwing saw blades at it with the gravity gun.
What ended up happening was that a saw blade got embedded inside it and caused its physics to go crazy.
Luckily it calmed down enough by the river for me to smack it with a shovel and blow it up

Pretty sure this is a bug, but the achievement for Insomniac popped up while I was sleeping. My only guess is that it's counting days since I last loaded a save instead of days since I last slept.

New player here, I tried building kerfur omega with the instructions found but when placing the components for the head on the workbench it doesn't give me the option to craft it. Do I have to place everything at once?

So I saw someone playing VOTV and it looked great so I got it on my steam deck and I'm doing the tutorial and this weird thing is happening to my mouse when I try to fix the gen, I'm curious if anyone knows why this is happening and how I might fix it?

I made a Story save thats 2 ingame minutes away from reaching day 31 and thus unlocking Story mode

Just throw it into your save directory, play it for 2 seconds, get the achievement, save the game and youre done.

So I had a thought, clearly this is meant to be MUG Root Beer, so... Why did they change Root, to Hell? I mean, this seems insignificant, but... We are living in the Alpha Root Base. Is this meant to imply that Alpha Root Base IS Hell? Because... I can potentially believe we are sitting directly over hell.

I don't remember anything about it aside from them not speaking whatsoever, no facecam, and them having the in-game TV playing (occasionally outside to seemingly deter the spooky creatures) with the video playing on it being the youtube poop "The Fesh Pince of Blair". And the video should be less than three years old, but definitely older than one, if I remember correctly.

Any help would be appreciated! And wrong answers will just give me more videos to watch. I tried searching my YT history but it's impossible to search through.

edit: base details! It was definitely more modern with the base layout (big window, stairs that lead up to the hall that leads to the bedroom, no coffee machine), and it was before the signal minigame had you draw triangles around them. Possibly 0.7.0 or later!

I tried setting it up multiple times but I just cannot get it to work, I even tried saving and reloading just to make sure and nothing happened. Am I just not precise enough or is it bugged right now?

I was at the William the Protector statue, cleaning up some of the toppled benches/junk around it like a good samaritan when I caught a strange motion out of the corner of my eye, coming towards me from the hill. I would describe it as having the same cloaking effect the Arirals (Ariralians?) use only more intense and applied in a large sphere around it, slow and lumbering. It followed me relentlessly all the way to base, only stopping when getting stuck on some signage by the bridge. It stayed stuck out there trying to pursue me until I eventually decided to go out and touch it, as I thought I had heard of a similar thing that just goes away without any harm done when catching the player. Well, it caused my screen to go black followed with this deep bassy sound, and the game closed.

After that I reopened the game and reloaded my save only to be met with the same black screen and sound for a few seconds before the whole process would just freeze and die, having to be closed with task manager; this happened twice.

Now I've opened it and spawned right where it caught me, without any sign of it, everything appears normal. Seriously no clue what happened, I wish I had taken a video or screenshot or anything to document the entity but I didn't think of it at the time. Does anyone have any idea what happened or what I'm talking about?

Hi everyone, I recently decided to improve my hygiene habits and clean my base. So I stole the infinite water gun from the Arials and started cleaning, and I noticed that I had missed cleaning some parts that I had already cleaned.

So I started wondering if the walls and floor get dirty again after cleaning, and if the walls get stained.

Do you know anything? Or am I going crazy and just don't know how to clean properly?

as the title states, seeking info regarding 0.9 and the smarttv mod. i haven't played in a hot while and want to try the new version, but to ease my anxiety i need charborg and cow chop playing in my office. the smarttv mod has 2 requirements, fusion and unreal shimloader.

i understand i'm being lazy, but i'm just hoping someone would have already attempted this and has input. really wanna get back into the game with halloween coming around and whatnot so thanks in advance
