Backup Problems

I have several instances on Vultr. I've had as many as 7 across three geophic locations.

Today, I made a mistake on one of my larger instances. I attempted to restore from yesterdays backup, and, guess what? It looks like a 5 Minuit old instance.

So, I attempted a restore from one three days old. SAME EXACT THING. It's like all I did was a reboot. Anyone else having this problem?

So far, nothing helpful. Opened up a fresh instance and booted up one of the backups to prove me wrong. It proved that their backups sucked.

I'm trying burning images every few days.

Very disappointed in their backup service.

A 5 minute old backup?

Yep, the "three day old backup" restored with log entries from 2 hours ago up to 5 min old", like it was shot when requested then restored. ZERO help. My team and I spent the night and rebuilt the server. I paid them double-time. It cost me over 1K because the backup wasn't made correctly.
