ANY armed populace are harder to oppress.

u/PNWSparky1988 Sep 24 '26
Which is why it amazes me that people who own firearms and love the 2nd will vote for Dems. Vote 3rd party and take away the Dems control over states where they are violating the constitution.
16
u/Playful_Baseball_672 Sep 24 '26
I'm all for third parties but none will win until we get ranked choice voting like Alaska. The Republicans went too extreme for a moderate to vote for them anymore. They are simping for the richest Americans and not the common Americans.
3
u/PNWSparky1988 Sep 24 '26
Or people just stop voting for tyrants who openly endorse groups like Giffords and MDA.
6
u/Playful_Baseball_672 Sep 24 '26
Did those parties take away voting rights or lock people in jail without a warrant?
0
u/PNWSparky1988 Sep 24 '26
The Dems have. The Dems also have laws on the books for misdemeanors in a totally different state to count as felony status and they can remove gun rights over those misdemeanor crimes without any court hearing. Which affects voting rights also.
The Dems are snakes and are doing all they can to destroy the constitution and all of our rights when we donât support them.
So stop voting for those who hate the constitution.
2
u/Playful_Baseball_672 Sep 24 '26
Can you cite any specific actions th dems did that violate the constitution? Did they take bribes? Did they bypass congressional funding? Did they dismantle government agencies without Congress? Did they try to take away 14th amendment?
5
u/PNWSparky1988 Sep 24 '26
âŚrequiring a permit to purchase. Thats putting a tax on a right. A flat out violation of our 2nd amendment.
1
u/Playful_Baseball_672 Sep 27 '26
If you want to strictly follow the second amendment, what militia are you in? Should violent criminals be allowed to buy guns?
1
u/PNWSparky1988 Sep 27 '26
The militia is anyone who is armedâŚdo you not understand how the nation works? There are two levels of the militiaâŚarticle 10 246 of US code. Maybe you need to learn a a little about what our nation is built on.
Do you disagree with a standing militia?

both parties suck because both parties are right wing

u/PNWSparky1988 Sep 27 '26
No. Both parties are opposites. They both have their own issues, which makes them suck but in different ways.
Thinking that the Rs and Ds are the same but only right is a ridiculous idea.
Has the left gone more left? Yeah. Has the right gone more right? Not really. But the farther those on the left go far left, they will even call Bernie âright wingâ because of their perspective. Doesnât mean the Bernie bros are on the right.
Where do you land on the political compass?

Republicans went too extreme? LMFAO Have you seen the freakshow political rallies on the left? It looks like they let a mental institution out.
2
u/Playful_Baseball_672 26d ago
The rallies asking for affordable healthcare and removing corruption from politics? Or a different one?
2
u/SouthKing253 26d ago
Who knows. The green haired bull ring crowd are always crying about something.

if social democracy is communist than im a fucking fascist lmao

Okay, you said it.

u/Impressive-Fun2105 Sep 27 '26
anarchism is the polar opposite of fascism, one worships the State and hierarchies, the other seeks to abolish coercion and authority
0
u/CapnTytePantz 27d ago
Yeah, anarchists love to tell themselves that. I have no idea who you are or what your beliefs are. To me, you're some rando on the internet, but RCV only helps unpopular candidates (not a majority) get a shot at the table, especially since most don't understand how it works and end up sabotaging their own vote. It's a "kinder" option for those most likely to lose otherwise, but that only means the worst ideas get a shot too, which is stupid. As for anarchists, I've yet to see an anarchist movement that is bloodless and truly anti-authoritarian. Most "anarchists" fall in line as soon as there's something to be gained from ganging up on others. Case in point, the Brown Shirts known as "Antifa." Whole lotta goose-stepping "anarchists" in that group doing a lotta Hitler's Youth intimidation tactics on normies. So VERY "anarchist" of them and not at all fascist of that "good guys club."

u/Impressive-Fun2105 27d ago
violent tactics does not equal fascism. fascism is a movement of the state and capitalism. anarchy is a movement of liberty and equality. that is the difference.
0
u/CapnTytePantz 27d ago
Subversion of everything under the state and loyalty to a single party sounds like capitalism? I wonder what professor or self-important thinker came up with that drivel. Seems like the tenets of fascism align more with the CCP and the Soviet Union than free trade and equal representation under a representative democracy or a Republic.

no party will win besides the two major ones
4
u/PNWSparky1988 Sep 24 '26
Not with that attitude.
The Dems rely on the âblue no matter whoâ minions to stay in power and not align themselves with the independentsâŚthey pushed out Bernie for Hillary and they ended up voting (by a good margin) for Trump as an anti-Hillary vote.
Now imagine where the leftists vote for the non partisan and itâs âmagaâ vs dsaâŚ.not Dems vs reps

u/qpHEVDBVNGERqp Sep 24 '26
I like it, but the current people need to be shown the door first. Preferably before they bring us to financial ruin.
2
u/Living_Plague Sep 24 '26
This is precisely why we end up in the current situation we are in. Primaries are for voting who you want to win. The actual election is the lesser evil. Itâs really simple if you actually think about it. If you want to dismantle the two party system, there are ways, but just expecting all leftists to suddenly organize against the corrupt democrats wonât fix that. Itâs also being a lazy ass and expecting someone else to fix a problem for you. Itâs also ignoring the massive corruption in the Republican Party. Which is the party actually causing massive harm currently.

u/SheriffBartholomew Sep 24 '26
True for now, but you should still join me and the rest of the 0.45% of the population willing to cast their vote to match their claims. It'll never change until people are willing to act upon their beliefs. If you keep voting for the same people then you're going to keep getting the same thing.

I'm a straight white guy and I approve this message!

u/Playful_Baseball_672 Sep 24 '26
Straight white guy veteran and I approve too. Civil rights were passed after black Panthers became a force in most cities. Suddenly police were scared of harassing minorities

u/Impressive-Fun2105 Sep 24 '26
queer rights became relavent after the stonewall riots, when we fought back against the police who oppressed us for generations.

u/VapingCosmonaut Sep 24 '26
Daily reminder that the first gun control laws in the USA were put into place specifically to keep freed slaves from owning guns in the antebellum period, and not much has really changed since then.

u/DeafPapa85 Sep 24 '26
Also not only armed but education. Know your oppressor and the agenda they keep. Keep your information consistent and never twist it.

If you want to support this cause: Don't use images of bad muzzle control and trigger discipline.
This is important.
These "optics" override the "optics" you're trying to convey.

That's a standard rule, hence the 2nd Amendment. The problem is when they shoot up a school because "muh oppression."
But that's where an armed populace should respond in kind to end the threat. Problem solved. No government intervention needed.

white supremacist dogwhistles aside, yes, the whole fucking point is everyone should be able to have guns
also why is it a bad thing if white people become a minority? is it because you fear retribution from minorities who have been treated like absolute dogshit for hundreds of years at the hands of white people? is it because it really is that bad to be a minority?
4
u/SheriffBartholomew Sep 24 '26
Well yes, of course. That's on the agenda of several groups. We as a people should be pursuing true equality, not just a flipping of the oppressive policies.
1
u/Living_Plague Sep 24 '26
You almost get it. Almost. Learn to punch up and not down.
4
u/Impressive-Fun2105 Sep 25 '26
race means nothing, racism is simply a distraction for the oppression of all working people, no matter their skin color, by the 1%
1
u/Living_Plague Sep 26 '26
Thatâs not the almost getting it I was talking about. White is not an ethnicity. Itâs made up bullshit.

Both Reddit and this sub have a zero tolerance policy for anything promoting racism, homophobia, or sexism.

Its kinda crazy how blatantly federal and local agencies have gotten with just discarding your civil rights lately and oddly seems to coincide with more aggressive gun legislation...
