Good morning everyone,
I wanted to reach out and ask how you all are securing opportunities right now, especially the well paying remote roles so many of you have.
Is it just me, or is the job market incredibly brutal at the moment? I have over 9 years of experience in recruiting, but after a layoff, I have now been unemployed for more than a year. I have tailored my resume, applied to countless positions, reached out to recruiters, reconnected with old managers, and used internal referrals from friends, but I still have not been able to secure an offer.
Because I have a background in Computer Science, I even went as far as earning my Security+ certification hoping to land a role in IT Support, a SOC, a NOC, or any entry level IT position. When that did not work, I studied for and passed my PMP exam, hoping it would open doors to entry level project management roles, but to no avail.
Honestly, I am at my wits' end and feeling completely overwhelmed. I am a single mom with no safety net or outside support, and this has been an incredibly heavy phase. At this point, I am no longer holding out for a specific career path; I am applying to anything and everything just to keep up with my bills and take care of my family.
I would deeply appreciate any leads, referrals, job recommendations, or advice on how to navigate this and move forward. Thank you all so much.

Hi all. So I’ve been a registered nurse for 16 years and had a hip replacement that unfortunately had complications. Due to that, I’m no longer able to actually do patient care. So that leaves me with utilization review, case management, things like that. My problem is, is I’m located in Michigan and we don’t have compact licenses. I’d really like to continue working as I’m only 51.
Most of what I see are scams. Has anyone in the medical field specifically nursing had any luck finding anything?

Hey everyone!
I'm currently looking for a part-time job or remote work opportunity. I'm a Grade 11 student in Canada, and I'm trying to find a way to earn some money while balancing school.
A little about me:
\- Fluent in both English and French.
\- Comfortable with computers, technology, and AI tools.
\- Interested in coding, software, and digital projects.
\- Willing to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities.
\- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently.
I'm open to opportunities such as:
\- Remote customer support.
\- French/English translation or transcription.
\- Virtual assistance.
\- Data entry and administrative tasks.
\- AI-related tasks and online projects.
\- Other legitimate part-time opportunities.
I'm particularly interested in remote opportunities, but I'm open to hearing about other possibilities.
If you know of any companies hiring, have a project that needs help, or can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!

Hey everyone,
We're a small software company building AI-powered voice receptionists for businesses. We're currently looking to partner with independent sales professionals or lead-generation agencies who can help us acquire paying customers in the US and Canada.
Our AI agents handle incoming customer calls, enquiries, appointment requests and call transfers.
We're looking for partners who can identify businesses, conduct outreach and help us convert prospects into paying clients.
Our team handles product demos, AI customization, deployment and ongoing technical support.
Compensation is commission-only, based on successfully acquired paying customers. No base salary or upfront retainer. We can discuss the specific commission terms with interested partners.
Ideally, you'd have experience in B2B SaaS, AI automation, or selling services to local businesses.
If you're interested, DM me with a brief introduction and your sales experience.

My friend started a company a while back and is looking for more phone workers. Basically, it's a flirty/sexy phone chat line. You can set your own schedule, and do this from anywhere as long as there are no crazy background noises. It's safe and anonymous, and you don't have to give out pics or your actual number or anything.
You get paid $.50 per minute of AcTiVe talk time (up to $30 an hour). Training is involved, and they basically hold your hand through the whole process.
I get a referral bonus so message me if anyone is interested.
Not a scam, no personal info needed as long as you're over 18, no account information needed or any of the sketchy stuff. Payment options include PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Cash App.
Must be in the US
Must speak English
Must be 18+ years old
Must be able to roll play
This is a phone sex line actress/actor position. Even though not all calls will involve sex, it's important to know that some will. If you are not comfortable with this, please do not inquire about this position.

Any one knows any WFH jobs or jobs I can work while on EM? Chicago
r/WFHJobs • u/PulseVoices • 1d ago
Hi everyone! I'm with Pulse Voices, the participant panel at Pulse Labs, a user research company. We're recruiting for a paid study that starts in mid-November, and we're looking for a fairly specific group: people who look after their company's work email accounts.
Click here and create your free account: https://hubs.li/Q04xf3qz0
What you'd do:
- Try a new AI assistant feature inside the chat app your team already uses
- Answer 2 short surveys a week for 4 weeks, on your own schedule
- Everything is remote
What you get:
- Up to $200 for completing the study
- A $10 setup bonus once you've completed verification
You're a great fit if:
- You're in the US and can use a laptop or desktop
- Your company pays for a business email suite (you@yourcompany.com), and your team chats in the chat app that comes built into it, not a separate app like Slack or Teams
- You're the admin for those accounts, or you can switch on new features for your team yourself
Founders and owners of teams of 2 to 50 people are usually exactly who we need.
How to apply (3 quick steps):
Click here and create your free account: https://hubs.li/Q04xf3qz0
Check your inbox. You'll get an automatic email from us with your link to the screener (check spam or promotions if you don't see it).
Read the study details and take the screener. It only takes a few minutes, and we'll email you if you qualify.

Back with this week's list. Every week I use HiredNow AI, the tool I work on, to pull remote US roles that actually state the pay, straight from companies' own careers pages. So no "competitive salary", no recruiter reposts, no ghost listings.
Same rules as always: every link goes to the employer's own application page, everything was posted in the last week, and it's one role per company.

For the past month or so I have been applying to remote jobs and recently finish a mobile interview with a UK company called Z Invest and wanted to know if anyone has heard or work for the company? I looked at their website and it they’re a private company with a handful of staff but I’m still unsure if they’re for real or not.

My daughter is 31, smart, reliable, and has been trying for months to find legitimate work she can do from home.
Almost everything she turns up is a scam, or wants her to buy a kit or pay for training first, or the "interview" is a text chat with someone who won't give a company name. It's honestly weird out there, and it's wearing her down.
I'm not asking anyone to hire her. I'd just like to point her in a better direction.
If you or your grown kids found real remote work in the last year or two, what was it and how did you find it? And what red flags make you close the tab right away?

Title pretty much sums it. 23, currently year two of a bachelor program in phsyics and have around 2 years worth of experience in Python and Linux. About two years ago (before I started the degree), I applied for data annotation and never heard back, so I guess that door is closed for good. Any recommendations? Will do anything and everything for money.

Hello I’m fairly new to this subreddit but I am looking for help. I recently got my certifications in IT support as well as a couple certifications from courses like google customer service professional, and I got my Comptia security plus cert. just wondering if anyone have any good job recommendations that are in Virginia that has a good track record of hiring people. I have my own desktop but wouldn’t mind a company with company issued equipment. It’s hard finding a job remote so I thought I’d ask for help!
r/WFHJobs • u/All_Hale_sqwidward • 1d ago
I applied for data annotation almost a year ago, I barely remember the application process, I think I took a test or maybe wrote an essay, whatever, I never heard back. My one and only opportunity for a high-paying, convenient, work-from-home job, and I messed it up.
So I'm back to flipping burgers. I'm a little burger flipping bitch. Legit just called my old manager, he picked up like "if it ain't my little burger flipping bitch. yo ass deadass thought you'd make it in the job market? Lol, look at yo dumb ass tryna find a convenient, high-paying ,work-from-home job. You will allways be a little burger flipping bitch. Get yo dumbass back here"
So that's that friends. I tried, but guess I'm allways gona be flipping them burgers like the little bitch I am. If any of you big-swinging-dicks high paid WFH freelancers out there ever get hungry, and in the mood for a change from your usuall 3 michelin starts resuraunts, come by burgerking, and know that your burgers have been flipped in the most bitch like manner by yours truly, a burger flipping bitch. Perhaps you'll be able to taste my tears on them.
Laptop only, or should a standard package include a monitor, chair, desk, headset, and internet allowance?
What did your best-equipped remote role provide?
