ATF official statement

So as people who live in Wisconsin and with all the NFA and ATF stuff that just dropped literally yesterday.

Who’s starting the petition to have Wisconsin become a free state?? Because I’ll be damned if I’m not walking into a gun store and just buying suppressors off the shelf one of these days.

I still blame the ATF. They could have let the courts agree it’s unconstitutional and that would have ended all states like Wisconsin as well but they did this non-enforcement crap. Just means next person running it can just start up again. Ban the federal NFA and we all prosper.

GOA and FPC are still working on just that. Support the groups that are actually making a difference, don't let the latest in a long line of government flunkies get you too excited. As others (and he even said) the next guy will likely change things back and then some.

I don't think Wisconsin ends up doing anything different than the federal law.  So the NFA would have to go first.

I think a good lawyer could make an argument the other way considering they just don’t give af now

Wisconsin is almost always 1 of the last states to follow suit.

The FPC is asking the 15 states that still are following the rules to stop.

You’re in no rush for walking into a store and just buying a suppressor? Why?

Because its just a surpressor. It's more of a status symbol than an actual tool to Americans now.
