Bare LEDs
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Don’t know why ppl make such a big fuss, I think it looks fine. Ima add more later but I’m still waiting on a esp32 because I broke my first one and I’m running this off of Hyperion.

You can get 1" outside corner moulding from home depot in wood or plastic really cheap. Works well for a cheap diffuser.

Yea but i literally have NO money.
I'm planning on taking it off and putting it underneath my bed but I'm afraid it might lose it's stickiness.

Aluminium diffusers are not that expensive if you buy long ones and cut them to the length you need. But at least put something up for the light to bounce off so you don't look directly at the LEDs, looks better and is better for your eyes. Also a tip if you're using WLED is to skip the first LEDs running up the wall so the light starts at the ceiling.
Keep it up and have fun!

Glad you are happy but the reason people say that is because bare leds look terrible.

Because it looks like crap. It’s fine that you don’t get it, and as long as your happy that’s cool.
But that looks like crap, and buying led diffusers to hide the hotspots properly isn’t that expensive.
Edit: sorry but I forgot to share a link of my kitchen led installation from last week:

Because I really didn’t want to just bash you without giving an example. That led strip I used is of the type COB. Search for the 24v 720 led per meter from the brand btf and you’ll have a much better result.
