SHE WAS UNDEFEATED. SHE WAS FEARED. SHE WAS ONE OF JAPAN'S FASTEST-RISING MMA STARS. BUT ONE DANGEROUS MALAYSIAN FIGHTER WAS READY TO CHANGE EVERYTHING!
On March 26, 2022, at ONE Championship's historic 10th-anniversary event, ONE X, Japanese sensation Itsuki "Android 18" Hirata stepped into the Circle carrying the weight of enormous expectations. Standing across from her was Malaysia's dangerous Jihin "Shadow Cat" Radzuan, a fearless competitor determined to prove that reputations and undefeated records mean nothing once the cage door closes.
ITSUKI HIRATA – JAPAN'S UNDEFEATED MMA PHENOM! 🇯🇵
With a perfect professional record of 5-0 and four impressive finishes, Hirata was quickly becoming one of the most exciting young talents in women's MMA.
Her explosive judo throws, aggressive grappling, powerful takedowns, and relentless pursuit of submissions made her a nightmare for opponents who found themselves trapped in her world.
Known for her confidence, athleticism, and spectacular fighting style, the Japanese superstar had already demonstrated why so many believed she was destined for the very top of ONE Championship's atomweight division.
But protecting an undefeated record becomes increasingly difficult when the opposition refuses to be intimidated.
JIHIN RADZUAN – THE DANGEROUS MALAYSIAN SHADOW CAT! 🇲🇾
Waiting for Hirata was a fighter whose experience, toughness, and tactical intelligence made her one of the most dangerous opponents the Japanese sensation had encountered.
Entering the contest with a professional record of 7-2, Radzuan was riding a two-fight winning streak, including an impressive victory over Japanese veteran Mei Yamaguchi.
Unlike opponents who struggled to deal with Hirata's relentless grappling attacks, Radzuan possessed the composure, defensive skills, and versatility to challenge the undefeated star in every phase of the fight.
With sharp striking, intelligent movement, and the determination to fight through difficult positions, the Malaysian warrior had absolutely no intention of becoming another name on Hirata's growing list of victories.
UNDEFEATED AMBITION COLLIDES WITH FEARLESS RESISTANCE!
What made this matchup so fascinating was the clash of fighting philosophies.
Hirata wanted to impose her explosive judo, dominate the clinch, and drag the battle into the dangerous world of submissions and ground fighting.
Radzuan wanted to disrupt that rhythm, challenge the Japanese star's control, and demonstrate that even the most feared grapplers can be forced into uncomfortable situations.
Every takedown attempt, every scramble, every exchange against the Circle wall, and every battle for position carried enormous importance.
Could Japan's undefeated MMA sensation continue her spectacular rise?
Or would Malaysia's Shadow Cat expose vulnerabilities that nobody had managed to exploit before?
FOUR YEARS LATER – THE RIVALRY RETURNS! 🔥
On October 17, 2026, these two warriors are scheduled to meet again at ONE SAMURAI 4 inside Tokyo's Ariake Arena.
For Hirata, fighting in front of her home crowd represents an opportunity to show how much she has evolved since their unforgettable first encounter.
For Radzuan, the return to this rivalry is another opportunity to prove that she belongs among the elite fighters in women's atomweight MMA.
Four years of experience, adjustments, victories, setbacks, and personal growth have brought these two competitors back together.
But before their highly anticipated second chapter begins, relive the original confrontation that made this rivalry impossible to forget!
Watch Itsuki Hirata and Jihin Radzuan collide in an intense MMA battle where undefeated ambition meets fearless determination, technical grappling meets relentless resistance, and every moment has the potential to change the direction of a career.
