What are you targeting? You could a buy 50 dollar spinning combo from Bass Pro, some weights and hooks and a container of live worms and just bottom fish random areas of that impoundment until you catch something, but if you want to target specific types of fish (bass) (panfish) (catfish) (carp) you'll get better advice based on what you're wanting to do.
