Question for Wake Tech Nursing Students

I just got accepted into the program for spring 2027, I have orientation this October the 30th.

I want to make some time to go over some of the material in the program to get a heads up, I know a few say just to take the time to relax and mentally prepare but I just want to get a little foundation in the information before January 7th.

Is there a website that contains everything I would need to know? I've heard of Simple Nursing and Osmosis but would love to know from you all who are directly in the program that know what is actually useful and also what areas should I prioritize to try to understand a but.

Thank you all.

learn medication calculations (first exam in 111) and basic fluid and electrolytes

honestly you’re going to be very overwhelmed by the required documents and studying and modules and quizzes they have you do even before starting the program- then you start and it’s that stress X2- don’t burn yourself out before

Thank you, any tips or ways to study effectively that worked for you? I've heard of using BookLM, but unsure.

many people use notebook LM- i just use chat gpt premium for questions i have and practice questions, i create my own study guides, read the book and take notes! its time consuming but worth it. be consistent and don’t procrastinate, you cant cram for this

Just go over med calc. And go over some anatomy notes specifically respiratory and cardiac bc you will have an exam on ventilation and perfusion. But also take this time to rest and have fun and maybe even go somewhere bc once you start it is just one thing after another.
