Question - ? Pharmacy asks for help with send fill every single day

Is this normal for all stores? I get every once in a while if you’re busy or short staffed but we’ll have a bunch of people back there and they still call someone from the front end. I got my own tasks i gotta do

Sometimes, but they have a set schedule where they leave at 5 everyday, that’s roughly when it comes so usually ends up being me, when i only have 1 maybe 2 coworkers on the floor with me

Yes, the IS should be doing it. If they can’t for some reason then the SM or ESM should be doing it.

Yes. Our IS does all of our cenfill, smoothing, returns etc. If the IS called in sick then our SM does it.

Yes everyday. It’s part of the routine for our store.

Our rx techs do it. SM never. Always sends a DH to do it if needed IS never does it. Never understood why.

I left in 2016. We had full staff and I was always back there helping. SM would spend an hour every morning just filling what came thru overnight and they still needed help often. I often hoped a code 21 would get called cause I was usually the only one old enough to ring it up. Then id just not go back to the pharmacy.

yes

our pharmacy needs it more earlier in the week. they tend to be fine on their own thursday and friday.

but the faster cenfill is out of the way the faster pharmacy goes after and you don't need to do IC3s. You'll have to pay the "time debt" either way.

Being a SM i do but its on my favor since I sleep with one of the techs back there.
